    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Where would I acquire one of those "shorty" cases? I've got one that Drew sent, but it doesn't get much use 'cos I can't see/adjust the wattage that I've dialed in. Being able to see the button would be a bonus, of course. I just can't bring myself to (re)read 729 pages to find the source of...

    finally got some ce2's

I haven't yet tried widening the wick slot on the cap, but it sounds very promising. One thing that I've found helps is to invert the carto occasionally so that gravity will help wick the juice into the coil. This is especially helpful when the thing is less than half-filled or so (tough to know...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Yesterday, I had a bit of a scare. While vaping, my Darwin got into a state that I've never seen discussed. When pressing the button, the Evolv logo on the LCD display would change to an icon of a cigarette with a flashing circle/line through it. At the same time, the battery level icon...

Help me choose a 510 cartomizer

Adding a vote for the ce2 carto's. Been running 3.0-3.2Ω versions with my Darwin, and am really happy with the flavour/TH from these. Just gotta remember to invert it (so that it wicks to the atty better) once in a while. Planning to get the lower res' version(s) to run on my other (510/eGO) batts.

Why did you start using an e-cigarette?

I started for heath reasons, but the mod scene scratches my "sexy device" itch. It's like hacking on 8-bit computers in the 80s.. Polls are pretty fun, too. So - yes. :)

I was so afraid to try!

haha.. I feel better now; I'm not the only one. I purged my space of ashtrays, so I took to parking my 510 on my ear (like I used to do with analogs before they're lit). I've already lost track of how many times I've been searching around frantically for it only to realise it's right where I...

    Marlboro light?

Agreed. Bumping the nic level (I started at 18mg and moved to 24mg) may help ease the cravings. Worked for me at least. I think the important thing here is to disconnect from the taste of your old brand. IME, nothing tastes exactly like smoking. After a bit, your sense of taste/smell will begin...

Regular 510 atty's with high voltage batteries?

Postcount++ :) The 510 atties are great at HV. I bought a few to use with my Darwin to try dripping. I've become a dripping convert, and love the standard ones (not LR, HR, etc.) for that - lots o' vapor and TH. Winning!

I was so afraid to try!

Oh, one other thing that's helped - having a support system to, well, support my quit. ECF has been pretty central to that. The amount of advice and guidance I've got here has been invaluable to remaining motivated. Thanks everyone!

I was so afraid to try!

First, congrats on making the switch, Izabella!! It's been a bit more than a month since I dropped analogs completely, but I didn't truly think of myself as a non-smoker until I realised something. Like you, I'd always counted not smoking a process that would be "hard and grim" - I've long...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Hey folks.. Just a quick post to say that my D'win arrived today! Already, I can see an evening spent playing with this thing. Good thing I've got some blank juice (80/20 PG/VG) to play with right away. Otherwise, I would become a research monkey this evening. I can already feel/taste the...

510-t vs. eGo-t, tank, atty questions.

I don't have first-hand experience with standard 510 atties. That said, one of the things I love about the 510-T setup is that the switchover between flavours is reasonably quick. 3-5 drags usually does the trick with PG. YMMV with VG though - I've had things get "stuck" in there - even running...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Thanks!! I did familiarise myself with the Phases. I'm so excited! I just got the email that promotes me to Phase 4 - "Stalk USPS Tracking" - it has shipped! I've already done part of Phase 5 - I've got a bunch of cartos and juice coming to feed this thing. I'm probably not going to sleep until...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

I hope it's me.. After watching Drew's vid on Page 1, and reading a few dozen pages here (and elsewhere) about this thing, I definitely want one! Order placed.

Does vaping really helps to quit smoking?

Chiming in here to add to the "YES!" chorus. I got my eGO-T kit on 22 June, and literally quit smoking analogs overnight. I did have one on 2 July, mostly out of curiosity. It was every bit as nasty as expected, and didn't really do anything for me aside from making me need to take a shower...

    **Joye 510 E-cig**

Hey Sam! Welcome to ECF! You can get all sorts of bits for your 510 rig from Cignot. I've been getting most of my gear there and I love them.

    Do Not Order "Free Trials"!!!

Yeah.. I'm still a little "too" new here to get PMs or post anywhere else.. yet. Feel free to reuse my post as needed. You can use my screenname and all. Anything to help spread the word.. :)

    Do Not Order "Free Trials"!!!

FWIW, I never fell for any of the "free" trial scams, but I did buy in to the SE shtick a number of years ago at the local mall kiosk. I ended up spending close to $200 on the kit, extra cartriges, etc., and like so many others, it didn't really do the trick for me. Fair's fair - the SE rep was...
