Is this safe to use?
Maybe a little late to the thread, but... I've got a couple of IMRs that look just like the OP's pix. The red wrapper is just that - a wrapper. This. For whatever reason, the o-ring is the key. I've gotten 3 REOs with tricky flavours to get out, even with multiple baths (they're aluminium ones), the flavour was still there. Fishing the o-ring out of the cap, soaking both in PGA for a bit was an immediate fix for all three..- rustybikes

If memory serves, the Provari uses a boost circuit to get to 5v (using the 18650 at 3.7v). The boost will drain the battery faster anyway, but using a 2.0Ω pushes it even harder. Ohms law tells me that this combination will draw 2.5 Amps (5v/2.0Ω=2.5A), which is near the high end of current draw...- rustybikes

How long do you keep your juices?
I've kept just about every juice I've purchased, even if I don't really care for it. Firing question?
I had a similar thing happening with my Mini recently - It would fire inconsistently enough that I knew something was up. When I first got it, I got in the habit of giving the button an anti-clockwise twist every so often, "just because", so I knew that wasn't it. I have a metal-brush fitting...- rustybikes
