High dollar wood. If Robert knew what I had paid for them, as well as the Amboyna Burl, and some of the others I sent he might not have priced them as low as he did... When I know for sure this is completely "cured" aka dry, I will send it to Rob. :) -

You know what I just thought about... I still have a big chunk of this wood sitting in my china cabinet. :) This one.. (Its covered in wax, so it hides the real beauty of the wood underneath.) I can forsee more koa reo vv's in the future... :2cool: -

Alright, after trying a 3.5Ω at 5.6v's (8.96watts), a 2.5Ω at 5v's (10watts), and a 1.8Ω at 4.2-.25v's (10watts) (all were IKV io6's) I can safely say that the 1.8Ω vape at ~4.2-4.25v's is my favorite. Some folks will say that it pointless to use a VV mod for a "lr" atty at a low voltage...BUT... -

I had no luck with the HH's myself. Too hard to keep the "right" amount of juice in the ones I tried without getting a slurp of juice pretty often. (The ones I tried were the original short barreled versions). Now the io6's on the other hand, have been like a dream. I have not popped a... -
