So I just got my 1590g in the mail. Wow , this is a lot smaller than the b. It will require much better planning putting it in. I think the lessons I learned in my first build will allow me to do this but this is a tight space. That being said I'm exited to make it happen because it's much much...
My brother inlaw's have the gunmetal and black versions. They are very nice. A lot of the controversy regarding AV is IMO their hatred of clones which I'm sure most of us will agree on is totally valid. The proud clone owners lashed out at them and they lashed out back. I wish more modders and...
I paid in full in June too. I'm content just waiting for it to ship whenever , but I agree that it's most certainly not the proper way to run a business. I'll get it when I get it, the money I used was from selling some unused gear anyways.
I also just built an OKRT10 mod on Friday and I'm...
I hate to say it … but I think after vaping my OKRT10 mod for the last three days … I think I'm done with mech mods already. It's kind of sad really, I have no desire to pick up my Paps :(
I think I'm going to order the parts to build another in the morning. I have a work trip for a week on the 19th and I'd love to just take two boxes with RDAs on them and call it done.
I have the 5.6v zenner in mine along with all the junk soldered to the chip.
Went with the otto p9 for a switch , super nice and very very clicky.
I think for my next box I'm going to get the standard unfinished G and then sand it down and do a coat of spray on truck bed liner on it.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm pretty happy with it. The door is a tad lose but that's due to using countersunk screws for the box side, it just doesn't hold super tight. I just ordered some magnets for the box and I'll toss them in instead.
My only other regulated devices have been a Provari...
Not a mech but I just wanted to share something. Built my first OKR T10 mod last night. There's a profound feeling you get vaping with something you built yourself.
Still need to mount my potentiometer and voltage output display when it shows up.
So I managed to get her together last night. She's not 100% done , but she vapes.
Here's where I'm at right now.
I was originally going to have a mosfet for reverse battery protection and a master switch for a hard on/off but I decided to cut them when I was making it. Mostly just out of...
I went with the B for the extra space you get to work with. Magnets wise I ordered some 1/4 x 1/16 when I should have went with 1/4 x 1/8. It was one of those oops I ordered the wrong thing type of things. I think they'll work anyways but if they're a bit weak I'll order the 1/4 x 1/8.
I just...
I theory I'll have the last parts I'm waiting on tomorrow.
Those consist of the chip , Hammond box , magnets and switch.
If it all shows tomorrow I hope to have it done by Friday night.

Skip to around the half way mark.
I've been doing a ton of reading the last few days on this and I think I'm getting a handle on it all. You say you want a very simple circuit , chip, switch, potentiometer and not much else ?
Some problems will...
How important is the amp rating on the switch when using the components I've listed there.
Edit. I think I've found the answer and that my 2amp switch I have on order is fine.
That would make sense because both batteries would be around 2.8v if it cuts off at 5.6v of total power.
I'll probably just buy all of it and wire it in, there is a diagram showing all of wired in.
Does every 'ground' wire just go to the negative on the battery sled or does some stuff...
I'm sure the answers to these questions are here somewhere but I just don't know where to start looking.
I've decided to build an OKR T10 box. I don't use reddit but was doing some searches there and found this.
