It looks great , and I'm sure it's going to be received very well.
I'm wondering though, why limit what the device can do by wattage and not the amp limit. With a 6 volt max and 5 amp limit that's an even 30 watts at 1.2 ohms. Seems to make more sense to me personally.
I'm sure they're going to sell a lot of them but 20 watts will be a deal breaker for a lot of people.
I'm honestly kind of shocked it's not at least 30. At 30 watts I may have considered it but 20 watts makes it a definite no for me.
It's a shame because I'd like a nice regulated tube mod...
I don't know why everyone doesn't use Squarespace , I don't manage any websites right now but I help out with some Squarespace sites from time to time and it's awesome.
There was an email this morning that basically said they are waiting on a battery shipment then orders will start going out. Hoping those damn batteries show up soon.
It all comes down to airflow, how much you have and what you do with it. Take the TOBH v2 for example , it has six 1/16 inch holes with three per coil. In mm that is 4.76 mm per side for 9.5mm of total airflow. With that much air rushing in your coils stay cool enough not to burn your juice...
I started like most everyone else. Low wattages and ego batteries etc. Then I was on a year long Provari / Dripper PRO kick, as well as my Killer 705 and my Sofia. All fantastic attys. Sadly I really don't use any of them anymore. My GP Heron and Spheroid and Microstick also sit around...
If it ever comes to a point where you need to know ohms law etc just put an app on your phone. There are a few free ones for the iPhone, can't speak to the availability on android
Good to know it's all sorted out.
As for the wattage of that coil, 96 is probably a tad high due to voltage drop but I was vaping a .18 ohm coil last night and I had just put a fresh battery in.
Here are the formulas that are used to figure that stuff out.
I'm with Yankee , it just seems off to me that 8 watts is hot. Now granted the Sofia and a RDA are totally different experiences but I'm vaping at 95 ish watts as I type this and I just can't see how 8 watts would be too hot. Something is amiss.
