    Very, very cool and ingenious. I'll be copying this. Thank you! I might add some septa (the stuff in open top vials) to make it airtight. It never occurred to me to make my own, and when researching closures like this, the prices are high.

    In terms of slow cooker temps, they do sell one with digital temp control. Mine, however, is the basic of the basic, but I find, like Amanda, that with a few tweaks of the lid, it's pretty simple to keep the temp steady at what I want.

    Have you checked the ingredients for the Almond in the background? When I enlarge the pic, it becomes blurry, so I couldn't look it up. Be cautious of colorings and oils. Many people use oils, but they do so in small percentages. If you know all this, sorry to comment.
