    Went their once when visiting my old stopping grounds in Pasadena. Didn't realize it was a chain, but I have no idea what I ordered. It was many moons ago. The closest one here is an hour away, but we have so many breweries/ microbreweries/home brewers here that I'm fairly set.

    I just use blue painters tape when using the slow cooker. I do put two bottles a piece in a small freezer bag just in case of who knows what and suck the air out. I haven't had any leakage issues this way. I think the bowl would minimize equal heat distribution, but I could be wrong.

    This sounds like a great plan. However, for 1-2 flavored fruit mixes, steeping is not necessary, Imo. Let me rephrase, time often makes mixes better, but I personally find that many fruit flavors are good once I mix them.
