Fully charged battery is about 4 volts. Power is expressed in watts. You can only get watts to the same level by increasing voltage or lowering resistance.
4 x 4 = 16
16 / 3.0 ohms = 5.33 watts
4 x 4 = 16
16 / 1.5 ohms = 10.67 watts
4 x 4 = 16
16 / 1.0 ohm...
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but higher resistance at any given voltage will give you a cooler, weaker vape.
(Battery voltage squared) / resistance = power
That's crazy! I don't think I've ever had a DOA Vapage atty. I far prefer the BF version for VMods. I use 'em every day. In my experience, they're equal to Cisco Spec atties in construction, life span and flavor, and far superior for smooth, consistent bottom feeding. When they have a BOGO...
If you were lucky enough to find another eliquid company run by a gifted flavor chemist, who created brilliant juices with natural flavors true to their names, the odds that that new liquid maker would choose to do as Wlad does and not price gouge for his creations would be slim. Ahlusion really...
Yeah, if he blows 'em out at $4 each, I'm in for a bunch. I don't think Cisco himself even uses them anymore, and he basically invented the low res atty.
A couple points. First, Mann is spot on about the resistance. rhammer, if you have a variable voltage/wattage device, you could just as easily get 2.0 or 2.5ohm atties. They may indeed have longer life.
I use Vapage atties on my VMods, and I just changed one after four months (the flavor and...
The bridge has extra wicking that was designed to draw liquid from a cartridge attached to the atty. I don't see that it serves any purpose anymore, although some users (Mr. Mann, for example) still prefer them. I find them slightly more prone to holding flavors than bridgeless atties, but it...
I would start with this one.
LR510 Low Resistance Bridgeless 1.5ohm Atomizer (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper
When you first use it, I'd drip four or five drops and let it sit for five minutes while the juice saturates the wick and coil. Then drip two more drops and start vaping at a fairly low...
Yeah, I started with clearos -- and they weren't as nice as the current crop either -- and nowadays a Nautilus is what I recommend to new vapers. But I don't think the flavor is close to what a small-chamber atty provides. So if someone comes here for advice with the products that are this...
Best deal for a really good and tasty atty is probably Empire Mods' 510's for $5.99. Cisco Spec's from Avidvaper are great, but more expensive. Ditto HH357's from Avid; those are $22. My real faves come from Vapage. Those are $18 for two, but watch out for their discount offers; sometimes...
I think this is the issue. If you don't get all of that axle grease out of the atty, I think the juice may find alternate paths to the bottom, possibly missing the cup and coil entirely. My big issue with these atties is that I find it hard to get all of that stuff out. Now I soak them overnight...
I've had this juice as a custom sample, as XPress, and in the store (also XPress, but months removed from the one I bought). They all taste like menthol to this VERY menthol-sensitive guy. No mas.
Can I get a copy of your audio, if you're still planning on recording this? If you're posting it publically, good enough. If not, can you PM me? I was lined up to be home for it, but wound up having to work. Thanks!
