Suggestions on cartos vs. tanks vs. clearos...

I've been pretty happy with the Kanger T2s. Mine have been lasting well through pretty regular usage and cleaning, and they have the advantage of being able to change the heads if they wear out. There's a new T3 out, which is bottom fed, so you don't have to fuss with making sure the wicks stay...

Well, I like that you're busy. Need to keep my favourite hardware supplier around! And quarters for dollars - I vote Mopar for Finance Minister!

    first time vaper here

Welcome to ECF! I'm glad you tried e-cigs again after what sounds like a pretty terrible first experience. The Twist is great - good choice! Get a backup as soon as you can :) Sucks to be left without a charged battery! Sorry to hear about the wrong sized cartos. Not sure if they're better...

**official canvape thread** - Part 2

Yep, agree 100%. This kit gives them everything they need at first, plus a couple of things to experiment with, and is just over the shipping charge limit. I think it's pretty clever. Is there still a carto sampler? I couldn't find one, but having just discovered how much I like cartos, a...

Where in Canada do you live?

Well done! We were looking at places around Mundare when we got sick of the big city. Ended up south west of Edmonton, but this province has some great places to live.

    New with questions

Welcome to ECF! One thing I found when I was starting, inhaling while vaping is a bit different than inhaling from a cigarette. If you're inhaling straight to your lungs, you'll be getting a stronger "throat hit", which might be irritating. I usually inhale into my mouth, then just draw some...

Canada Customs and My Z ATTY Pro

An excellent postscript to an epic tail. We may need pics of you vaping this beautiful device when it's finally in your hands.

Woah. That's an awesome starter kit, and a sweet price. Makes my starter-recommendation list a lot easier :)

First DiY, question about VG taste

Ah, that makes sense :) Where we live, it's actually more convenient to order in, too. Thanks for the link the Hoosier post. Checking that out right now. I'm still working my way through all the stickies, although I did make sure I went through all the "be careful" ones before doing anything...

    Baby, it's cold outside!

I just did this with my steel King Kong. And forgot there was snow on the ground, so stored in an outside pocket. Yeah, don't do that.

First DiY, question about VG taste

"Soapy" might not be the right word. I feel like I have to learn a whole new vocabulary to describe taste and smell! "Off" might be the same idea, though. Both me and my SO noticed it, though she definitely seems more sensitive to it. Not sure I should directly mention them as I'm in Canada...

    Jugheads

I'm not sure if I'd even describe JokeSmoke as "tobacco". I sure like it though. It's just about the only juice I've found that I'd consider an ADV. Have you tried the HotRod? That's definitely got a kick to it.

First DiY, question about VG taste

Just started our first experiments with DiY juice, and I have to say, it's a lot of fun. Of course, there is already something I'd like to tap the collected wisdom on. We started with just a couple of small samplers, 50/50 PG/VG, and a very little bit of tobacco extract and Seedmans (one...

    Noob in N. Austin

Very impressive! It took me a lot longer than that to figure out what kit I liked. Sounds like you have a good vapemail coming for you! Welcome to ECF!

    Whats in a name?

Congratulations, and keep spreading the good word! I refer to it as different things, depending on context, and I haven't really settled on what's best yet. If asked, I'll tell people it's what helped me quit smoking. After that, if I'm talking to a smoker, I'm more likely to refer to it as...

My first vape mail has arrived!

I was really surprised at that, too. I get 90% of what I got out of smoking with vaping, but what I get out of vaping more than makes up the difference. That is so Canadian :)

    Tried some Halo E-Juice

I've only tried two Dekang juices (DK TAB and RY4). They're very different from Halo. A lot of people seem to like the Dekang, but I didn't care for it myself. I don't want to prejudice your taste about them, so I'll just leave it at "they're steeping to see what happens." Taste is a very...

Adventures in DiY at the Birdhouse

Wrenfisher and I decided to take the plunge and order some juice mixing supplies a couple of weeks ago. Tonight we finally had some time (and a bit of research behind us) and took the plunge. We just mixed up a couple of small samples to get the feel, and of course had to sample them. So I was...

    Newbie

The only cigs that count are the ones you don't smoke. What nic level are you vaping? In the beginning it was 36mg juice that got me past the morning smoke. I vaped a *lot* starting out. I tried to never let myself get to the point of actually craving a cig, and I think that helped a lot. Yes...

    Tried some Halo E-Juice

I've liked all the Halo juices I've tried so far, though some I think I could only drip occasionally. My two favourites so far are Torque56 (reminds of a cherry pipe tobacco - the smell, not the taste) and HX3, a bit of tobacco and a touch of menthol - just enough to kind of freshen the palate...
