    I'm not 100% sure, I can't really tell... but I just stuck a carto in it and tried to pry it out and the carto broke :P so it's at least sturdy. It looks machined in but I can't make any promises. I'll ask the supplier tonight.

    Regarding the durability of the board. I plan on it being in as sealed an enclosure as possible, most likely completely isolated from any path the juice could take outside of the center post wire. I don't know how water proof it is, but general rule of thumb... liquid on electronics is bad news lol.
