    what i do is get enough juice ready, then i get more and set it in the closet, by the time im done with the first batch the second batch is steeped properly. personally i havent found any great substitute for just time.

    somethings the perfumey quality never goes away, but depending on the flavor they used it might. I would suggest leaving the top off for it to breathe for a night, then letting it steep for a week. id that doesnt change the perfumey smell then it might just be kinda crappy.
