    I wonder if you got that little pop because your current elevation is almost a mile higher than the elevation was when you closed up the bottles. If that's the case, on your return trip, it may be wise to squeeze the bottles a little bit before sealing them up.

    That's good then (and not the primary cause of your distress). The clouds you see in the videos shouldn't happen with the percentages you use. You should only see wisps ;-) Still, I'd imagine that a higher VG might take the edge off the rawness in your throat.

    I think that if you're actually managing "plumes of vapor" while using 100% PG, you're definitely doing it wrong. If you're not seeing much visually, then it shouldn't be a problem. With an all PG mix, you shouldn't see much of anything but if you manage to do it anyway, you're probably sucking...

    If you're slotting the cap to allow for larger wicks, perhaps the cap is sliding a bit lower than it should. The seal between the top of the cap and the "top cap" could then be lost and there'd be room for vapor to back wash into the tank. Justa thought....
