What volts do you let your IMR battery go down to in a mech mod?

I find, at 3.5, it feels wrong so I check and replace. but that's just me....

I guess I'm not much for tinkering anymore........

Your attention to detail suggests that starting a "huge" spreadsheet is in order. Keep track of every variation you try and how successful it is with regards to your own personal preferences. It's kinda like DIY where you really have to keep track of every ml if you ever want to replicate the...

    RIP my first ego

Last week I lost my first ever e-cig - a kr808. Much as I tried to revive it, I'm happy to say it died peacefully and has been stripped of coatings so it can be forever enshrined somewhere around here. It was new, to me, at the end of June of 2012. Now it's gone, but never forgotten ;-)

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

I don't have a 19e but on the b, the top cap's 510 connector didn't come with a flush fit. There was a similarly noticeable gap between the atty and the head that was being caused by the tube sticking up too far on both the original and nzonic heads. The only way to remove the gap was to grind...

"Me mam was born in Belfast" although I don't know how to actually spell that blarney. She was born there kinda by accident in that her dad was a minister and was working, temporarily, there at the time. She took ill and had to be sent back home to Canada by herself. On the ship, the crew kept...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

After the liquid nitrogen comment I got to thinking (a dangerous prospect around here). Everyone is using heat to break the switch and magnets loose. Has anyone tried using cold? Mine is apart so there's no reason for me to experiment but perhaps something like leftover butane from those old...

    CHIT CHAT in VOLTVILLE

I don't have any AW's but they at least have a decent reputation for consistency and for both 18350 and 18500, if I could find them for a decent price, I'd pick them up. I don't use a fuse because I'm daringly stupid. The battery won't short out unless you're playing with the device so I...

    CHIT CHAT in VOLTVILLE

For my mechs in 18650 mode, I use the CGR18650CH panasonics mostly because of the safer chemistry, long life (2250 mAh) and reasonable price. I don't have any mid sized 18500's yet. I did pick up a couple UltraFire 18350s to use in short mode but they're a mere 1200 mAh and I doubt that claim...

Uncle, you are one of my favorite people in the etherworld - and that's a fact. I can see how you are viewing this portion of the thread with difficulty and join with you in the tongue biting. But, it was pointed out a long time ago (to me), that you remember pretty much everything that has...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

What you might be able to try, since you have the thing apart, is wrap a bit of tape around it, then slip it into a drill and just use sandpaper to wear it down a bit. It's metal so it takes some time to grind it down but it's an easy option and as long as you can hold the drill vertically, it...
