is it safe to use this battery?
If it says 5000 mah on the label of and it's an 18650 I wouldn't even try it. I'd throw it in the trash. In addition if it isn't a name brand or known battery, even if properly marked, I'd still throw it in the trash. Don't chintz on batteries when you are throwing 30 Watts + on a Mod. I...- niczgreat

Set it to coefficient of 120, 100 Watts and 500' Still same problem. -

Unit set for coeficcient of 92. Watts set at 60 Temperature set at 420 Degrees. Very simple "Temp Protection " flashes on the screen and wattage is reduced to just about no vape. Same in SS Mode, also tried raising the Watts to 100 slightly helped but not much. -

The only other variable is the Atty. If you are sure it's a good build then sounds like you have to return the DNA 200. You might buy a RX200 to use in the meantime. The price is so low you could keep as 2nd or backup. I"ve heard that it's close in performance to the DNA.- niczgreat

Well I set my temperature coefficient to 92 for M1 and which according to the chart is right for ss 316 and no luck same protection errors as before on my crown ss tank. No worries though Watts mode is fine with me. I was just hoping that the update fixed the crown. -

I think the first release was a 1.04. I"m pretty much a Watts guy too. The only TC that interests me is the SS because I have the Crown Tank and my coil of choice the .25 is SS. The RX-200 wasn't compatible with this coil in TC Mode. The Temp protection warning on the screen kept lighting up... -
What to buy for $100-200??
Too many counterfeit VTC4 on the market. I don't buy them. My LG HG2 bought at Orbtronics are running flawlessly in the Reuleax rx200 I'm rocking 100-120 Watts and the batteries aren't even warm.- niczgreat
