Received my Crown Tank and I'm rocking it at 480'F, You are spot on in your assessment. Only difference of opinion that I have is I find the door more annoying than you do.
I put a rubber band around it and that's alleviated the situation. I found tiny magnets at Home Depot and I'm considering...
I agree that by design. Ie durability, indestructibility a Mechanical mod like a Reo Grande can't be beat and that Bottom Feeding does have some advantages.
But somehow or other the new generation of Sub Ohm Tanks has found a way to delivery incredible vapor and flavor. These tanks are nothing...
Battitude, for a mechanical you are correct. But what about the Battery Boxes that are 2 18650 Batteries and Regulated.
I just bought a box that is not running in parallel. I think it's called in sequence.
Well my Cloupor Gt arrived today, but my Crown Tank won't arrive until Sunday.
So anxious to try out my new toy that I went to E-Cig City and tried and bought a Herakles Tank.
I'm rocking it with the Herakles Tank. Prebuilt .20 Titanium Coils at 480" Farenheit. It's a tasty flavorful Vape.
I...
Well my Cloupor GT arrived today. My Crown Tank didn't. I was so anxious to try out my new toy that I went to E-Cig City and the owner Andrew was nice enough to let me use his demo Herakles tank.
I was prepared for the usual flavorless Vape that all other Tanks delivered. Boy was I suprised the...
Saw a Video on You Tube and he compared 3 mods, 1 of them the IPV4 and the IPV3livr was his favorite. I think I would have bought that one if I had seen the movie first. Good Luck, tell us how it works. I have a Cloupor GT on the way.
I felt kind of like you too. I'm a bottom feeder using a Mech Reo and just switched to a VW Bottom Feeder, but was curious about the changes in technology. So I bought the Cloupor 80Watt TC [Uses 2 18650 Batteries] and a Uwell Crown Tank with TC Coil [Very Highly Rated]. I'm just so curious if...
Hey Batitude, Nice to see you up and around.
As usual I partially disagree with you. I like the built in batteries. Usually by the time the batteries wear out the mod should be replaced. I also think that because they are building the APV to match a certain battery they are able to achieve...
You have me excited, By Chance I bought your exact setup. I just bought the Cloupor GT along with the Uwell Crown. Chose the Cloupor GT because it's one of the smaller units and the price is reasonable. Chose the Crown because it was the highest rated on YouTube. I'm hoping I like mine as much...
Earlier in the thread I mentioned that the metal straw assembly broke in the bottle after 4 days and I've
been squonking upside down. Angel cig has taken care of the issue.
They just sent me tracking. They are sending me 3 replacement bottles from China.
I've been a bottom feeder for more than 3 Years. I feel like a traitor for trying something different.
The Ecig market is constantly changing. In the past my conception and experience with Prebuilt Tanks was they had little itty bitty coils and no airflow.
Now I'm hearing about Temperature...
Some more thoughts on the RBA. I first set it with the coils it came with and it was .42 Ohms.
I overtightened the screws a day later and re-built it at .35. This is a larger RBA which I like. Also the top holes are adjustable.
I found when opened all the way it was too Airy and I like it...
Set up the RBA that came with the APV yesterday.
Solid Vape, Lot's of room for the coils and plenty of aeration. Came in at .42 Ohms.
Let me reiterate to those who aren't I-phone users. I have plenty of micro USB Cables and have been operating it as a pass through.
No worries about battery...
The Vendor has promised to send me replacement bottles. But I believe it when I see it. When they come in I'll post it on the thread.
Btw- Squonking like a V-mod upside down is working really well. I may be tempted to just continue doing it this way even when the new bottles arrive.
By the way...
The bottle mechanism is screw in and there is no way around it.
It seems to be in a position that would be hard if impossible to epoxy.
But possibly I could epoxy the metal tube in but I'm very hesitant to vape around chemicals..
If they don't replace the assembly then I'll just continue...
Well I found what may be the weakness in this APV and how to get around it. Let's see what kind of service I get from my seller.
The insert in the tube that holds the tube in place came apart. I put it back together but it wouldn't work properly. Then 2nd day I put it together again and it went...
Day 3. I'm a happy camper.
Summation: This is a solid little APV, it feels and looks expensive but is reasonably priced.
I feel that I got my moneys worth for sure. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it because durability
is still a question mark. I hope that it lasts at least a year. By the way...
