You can change the resistance on your atty to get the same effect on a mech. People prefer mechs for many reasons. They're unregulated, so there's no amperage limitations. They're more durable. They're better looking. There's more variety. There's no circuitry. Energy transfer from battery to...
It was really all a ploy to scare people into buying regulated devices. The VTC4's are good up to 60 amps if you're pulsing, which we are. CDR is for use of 30 seconds or more, which no vaper is doing. Unless you fall asleep drunk with your mech in your lap.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the suggestions in the thread. The Stillare and Quasar have also received good reviews. My favorite RDA is still the $15 Omega clone.
The evolution of Provari threads:
1. They outperform other APV's.
2. Well, they're more durable and American.
3. Well, they have a flat signal.
4. But that warranty!
5. Well, there's something wrong with everyone else. Cloud chasing .....!
It's been a fun ride.
It's simple. The amp limitations prevent it from performing at a modern standard. One thing that's been universal in the 16 months since I've started is that resistance has steadily declined. Why? Lower resistance coils produce better flavor.
