Sony VTC batteries are and will continue to be made by Sony

Or, don't be an idiot and pass out drunk holding your mod. Or, don't use mods without recessed buttons. It's the same argument as guns. User error isn't the fault of the equipment.

Sony VTC batteries are and will continue to be made by Sony

Personally, I have no problem vaping at 50% above the CDR of my batteries. I would feel safe vaping an HE2 at 35 amps (20 amp CDR) and VTC's at 45 amps. Imo, it's absolutely safe. I personally don't do it. I don't build coils under .3, not because I think it's dangerous, but because I don't...

    Cannot Get 4Nine To Work

The Infinite clone is 51 mm, not 49, which is the reason for the extra magnet in some. You don't need a button top battery, but you do need an adjustable positive post. You can adjust the throw with the positive post.

You need an adjustable positive post on your atty.

Have you ever seen a pulse rating less than 30 seconds?

Sony 18650 Battery (Who Makes them???) Not Sony.

The idea that a corporation as large as Sony is worried about lawsuits stemming from the misuse of their product is laughable and without merit. Conjuring up conspiracy theories doesn't add to the thread.

Regardless, for our purposes, it doesn't matter. The people really pushing battery's aren't coming near 30 seconds.

"Pulse" isn't mysterious. A good rule of thumb is 30 seconds. That's how MIT defines pulse. I'm okay with that.

I'm all for increasing battery quality. But, as it stands now, the quality is great and the track record is impeccable. 50 amp batteries would be fantastic, but they're unnecassrary.

Address the post, not the poster, right? Your post was completely illogical. I challenged it. Deal with it.

The battery manufacturer wouldn't be liable for their product being misused. That's like Chevy being worried about being sued for somebody crashing their car because they were driving it 160 MPH. Maybe you should relax with the speculation and fear mongering.

Why would you need 50A CDR to pulse 40A?

    More fake Sony VTC5

I get all my battery's from non-vaping sites. They're somewhat cheaper and there isn't the as much desire to counterfeit. Amazon is your friend.

    More fake Sony VTC5

Personally, I've moved on to he25's. I'll never come close to the 35 amp pulse rating and I keep 4 batteries in a 6 month rotation, then recycle.

LG he2 is a damn good battery. I wouldn't worry about Sony discontinuing the VTC just yet. That rumor has been going around for years. There's a good possibility that they'll be releasing a VTC 6 soon.

Dark Spots Showing Under battery Wrap VTC4 & VTC5's 18650

It's plausible that it's arcing as well. If it was from the batteries themselves heating up, one would think the wrap would shrink. Mold and juice are just too unlikely.

Dark Spots Showing Under battery Wrap VTC4 & VTC5's 18650

I wouldn't call it controversial. I gave what I think is a plausible theory. It's definitely anecdotal, which I thought was obvious. I know you're still angry about being exposed, but we don't have to drag in into every thread. We are adults, rights?
