Or, don't be an idiot and pass out drunk holding your mod. Or, don't use mods without recessed buttons. It's the same argument as guns. User error isn't the fault of the equipment.
Personally, I have no problem vaping at 50% above the CDR of my batteries. I would feel safe vaping an HE2 at 35 amps (20 amp CDR) and VTC's at 45 amps. Imo, it's absolutely safe. I personally don't do it. I don't build coils under .3, not because I think it's dangerous, but because I don't...
The Infinite clone is 51 mm, not 49, which is the reason for the extra magnet in some. You don't need a button top battery, but you do need an adjustable positive post. You can adjust the throw with the positive post.
The idea that a corporation as large as Sony is worried about lawsuits stemming from the misuse of their product is laughable and without merit. Conjuring up conspiracy theories doesn't add to the thread.
I'm all for increasing battery quality. But, as it stands now, the quality is great and the track record is impeccable. 50 amp batteries would be fantastic, but they're unnecassrary.
The battery manufacturer wouldn't be liable for their product being misused. That's like Chevy being worried about being sued for somebody crashing their car because they were driving it 160 MPH. Maybe you should relax with the speculation and fear mongering.
LG he2 is a damn good battery. I wouldn't worry about Sony discontinuing the VTC just yet. That rumor has been going around for years. There's a good possibility that they'll be releasing a VTC 6 soon.
It's plausible that it's arcing as well. If it was from the batteries themselves heating up, one would think the wrap would shrink. Mold and juice are just too unlikely.
I wouldn't call it controversial. I gave what I think is a plausible theory. It's definitely anecdotal, which I thought was obvious. I know you're still angry about being exposed, but we don't have to drag in into every thread. We are adults, rights?
