    Bump for my first mod. DCC's were killing my original Ego batts, so what the heck, I ordered a roughstack from MV, with some batts, charger, new cartos, and threw in some juice just for safety. I hope I like it.

    GK 1001RB and an Avatar 4ohm 212 here. Not the biggest and baddest, but weighing in at 56 lbs (the cab) makes it an easy carry. I don't know if any of you guys are fans of Dr Bass, but if you are I got some parts cabs/drivers/and x-overs I'd be willing to part with for some cool e-cig stuff...

    I think we're actually agreeing. Yeah, listening to guitarist play their newest most favorite riff on a bass is annoying, but what about guitarists isn't? (Just joking you six shooters)

    Bass is also a much more percussive instrument IMO. Some guitarists can zone out on the more rhythmic aspects of their instrument, but it's rare, most tend to be more tonally focused.
