    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

Hmmmm..... The airflow, is a bit "open", but not really enough to bother me, the wicking is fantastic, no burnt/dry hits whatsoever (my biggest problem with the stock heads), and the vape is like a kick in the teeth. Almost too much for me, but I can dilute my nic content if need be, and...

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

I gotta admit it, this RBA is amazing. I really can't see myself using any other devices for quite some time.

    How is it.....?

That Vicky can ship my ($18) package from Illinois, to Washigton state in one day, when madvapes sends me a tracking number two days before it actually leaves the facility? And I get it four days later. Dammit, Vicky, I need to try your RY4, and if I like it, I'm all yours.

Shipping is a small price to pay, for the freedom to buy what you want, from whoever you want.

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

Just ordered the RBA base, and six coils from cignot. How can you beat this, for $18.50? I gotta say, joyetech is really out to prove that high-functioning ecigs can be small, powerful, easy to use, and adaptable.

What, is wrapped around the coils, in a carto?

Thanks, Lori, I have no decent camera, so pics are out, but I will take your advice, and try to find similar products by heat rating.

What, is wrapped around the coils, in a carto?

70 views, and no suggestions? Is this the "have you tried the search feature?" moment? I have. It does appear that the outer wrap on the cs-head, actually consists of two layers of material, so I have tried simply removing one of them, to get better wicking without cannibalizing another...

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

This got me sorted! I tossed the original wrapping, but thought it was too dense anyway, so I gutted one of the carto's that I don't like (I have plenty laying around) and used the material that's wrapped around the coils in the carto (not the poly fill) and it works freaking awesome! I have...

What, is wrapped around the coils, in a carto?

Ok, wierd Q, but inside a carto there is poly fill, but there is a slightly different product/material wrapped around the coil itself. Is it also poly fill? Just different? It seems to be more of a "sheet good", more like fabric than a fluffy filler. To answer "why?", in my search to make the...

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

So....the head that I flooded after removing one layer of fiber/filler last night? I put blue masking tape over two of the exterior feeder slots, and aligned the interior slots perpendicularly. Seems to be wicking and vaping well, but is sitting on a plate in case it drains again. Any...

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

I agree, most users will love this thing, I just wish I was one of them. I will try thinning the juice, might be an easy fix. And for pics, all I have is an iPad two, with the crappiest camera ever. It is fun to take things apart though...:)

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

Also of note: getting more juice to the coil also allowed me to turn the little beast up at least three clicks, which was still a great vape, and no burning/dry hits. I've just got to find right balance of filler volume.

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

So, for the record, I've been a carto and carto-tank fan since about 2008. Tried some BCC's here and there, and have loved the evolution of the tech, build quality, design, user friendliness, and quick set up time (compared to priming a carto), but have always disliked the vape. Too hot, never...

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

I find it hilarious, that joye will offer an RBA, with proprietary threading, for a mod that doesn't measure resistance.

    New Joyetech 20watt eGrip

stupid wicking hack: I've never liked the way BCC's wick, it's always three decent hits followed by a dry one. But the egrip had so many other great things going for it, that I bought one anyway. Anywho, I took some really sharp, pointy tweezers, and gently tufted the filler/fabric stuff...

    Restaurant Vapers....summer is here.....

Yep! Because of the temperature differential:) Oddly though, the plumes are greater, yet it dissipates faster.

    Restaurant Vapers....summer is here.....

I can't be the only one in the restaurant industry....and I have to say, on a busy night, when the kitchen is roasting.....there's nothing I love more than vaping in the walk-in freezer:) Poor smokers have to go outside in the heat.

    Seattle Meet

Somebody needs to bring a Provari, and maybe a Darwin too.....and a Reo...lol! I need a new mod....too bad I'll probably pull the trigger on something before August:)

    Seattle Meet

I should be able to make it once a date is set. With enough notice, getting Saturday off should be fine, and Tulalip is a close as anything else when you have to take a ferry just to leave your island:) Might give me an excuse to get a room and spend a nice day in the city, with no travel/ferry...

    Seattle Meet

I didn't contribute in the polls because I'm in that minority that works nights, weekends, and holidays, but the locations is great, and with enough notice I can probably do a Saturday. So count me in.
