Use the same cord, that's what is fine tuned to the battery, but the USB brick that goes in the wall might be a spot wonky for whatever reason. Heck, even try a different outlet in the house and see if anything changes.

Mine don't take that long on a charger that should, by all rights, be way slower about it. Are you using the included power brick? If yes, try a different one.
