I bet most people fried their ZNA from putting the battery in the wrong way, not from using VTC5s. I just use a small magnet on the top of my VTC5 and it works no problem in the ZNA. I say it all the time, if you can't make sure the battery goes in the right way the ZNA is probably not the mod... -

I don't think so man, think its too long. You might be able to use it but not get the bottom cap screwed on all the way though. -

Clone, counterfeit, knock off....different words that mean the same thing IMO. If it doesn't have logo's then I call it a "style or like" for example its a nemesis style mod. Again this is just IMO and not based of anything but my opinions. -

Its pretty basic stuff here buddy. The DNA chip fires down to 3.4 volts. If you get a charger that reads voltage, when you use a steel tube you only get the battery to drain down to 3.6 - 3.7 volts and if you haven't noticed its because you don't have a voltage reader on your charger. Maybe your not wicking your kayfuns right or something, I vape at .7-.1.0 and get gobs of vapor production and flavor (a ton more then when I use them at 1.3). I like gennys but that again is comparing apples to oranges they are totally different style of atomizers for totally different things... -

I vape on my Kayfuns over 15 w all the time... something the Provari cannot do. You also can't sub ohm on a Provari. You don't have an simple and intuitive interface or do variable wattage either. The Provari is a good device (and I can't wait for the v3) but comparing it to a DNA 30 device is... -

So what does everyone use on top mainly on their ZNA's?? I'd say I use kayfun/R91 almost exclusively. -

No I bought the aluminum tube 18490 and 18650 tube and I can tell you it makes a big difference. Not on the 18650 as much except for a lot less weight, but on the 18490 the battery life is way better and discharges evenly and doesn't sag up and down. The ZNA top cap and tubes are all Z2 threaded so if you have a bottom firing switch you could take the top cap and tube from the ZNA and make a mechanical mod. Essentially your just removing the DNA 30 chip from the equation. -

Also with the stainless steel, I could only ever get 18490s to fire down to 3.6v -3.7v. With the aluminum, they fire down to 3.4v - 3.5v. I never realized how conductive aluminum is (behind only silver, copper and gold). I'm surprised more mod makers don't use aluminum!- brekec88

Glad I didn't buy the upgrade kit for it. I love my ZNA but I'm not a huge fan of THE Z2 switch. -
