    Contest time again...

Though a nice wooden stand or two is tempting, the choice is simple: I would save the $50 gift card/store credit another 5 months and get a second Provari for my one year anniversary. I got my first Provari to celebrate what seemed like a miracle - my one month anniversary - and to help me...

What are you waiting for in the mail?

    * 60 ml of Mango Lassi from Ahlusion (possibly my all time favorite juice) * Nemesis (my first mech), Squape (glass version), Fogger v3, and Taifun GS clones, along with various other stuff from Fasttech like extra plastic tanks for their Kayfun clones and a 5 pack of Taifun clone drip...

    Whats your Vaping Budget?

What was most important to me, at first, was to have the proper tools to succeed (for example, I bought a Provari to celebrate the 1 month mark, but it has also helped me be successful every day since). Cost wasn't an issue - how much was quitting worth? Even if it cost more than smoking at...

    Whats your Vaping Budget?

I don't have a vape budget, per se, but I have made a rule for myself that 80% or more of the juice that I vape will be DIY, which probably saves me enough to buy the other 20%.

Making a major leap from casual vaper to hobbyest...

I bought 28 gauge for the same reason, but what I hadn't realized back then is that often those builds were used with mechs or DNA devices capable of powering it.

Making a major leap from casual vaper to hobbyest...

My experience points to 30 gauge micros performing better than 28 and 32 when using a "standard" regulated device (read: "not a mech or DNA 20/30). 32 doesn't allow for enough wraps for a good micro, and it's too fragile to last a long time. 28 typically takes to long to heat up when...

I've gotten much better at being patient while letting juices steep, too. Now I typically make DIY stuff two months ahead of time...it's so worth the wait.

After dealing with Ms. T's Bakery and Fasttech a number of times, I reckon that I've built up some patience! As my sister likes to say, "First world problems...". :)

Max VG Banana from Azure in a Taifun GT clone built with a 30 gauge micro coil, wicked with CVS sterilized cotton through the coil and a XC-116 "flavor wick" above the coil, measuring 1.5 Ohms vaped at 4.2 volts on a Provari Mini.

I'm #1600+, but I didn't order with the expectation that I'd get the order soon. I'm just happy to get four 120 ml bottles for so cheap.

Cotton or Hemp Yarn - need advice

I use Organic Cotton Hemp Wick most of the time when I'm using a yarn build. I also have Peaches n' Cream from Walmart, but even boiled, I find that the Peaches n' Cream has a certain taste to it for a short while, whereas the cotton & hemp blend does not seem to. In some builds I use both...

    XC-116 / Ready Wick - I'm sold!

Having disavowed silica a while back in favor of cotton builds, the XC-116 for RBA Supplies piqued my interest, so I bought two feet. I'm sold on it! What I've been doing is building a micro or nano-coil in one of my two Taifun GT clones from FT (I love them, by the way). I'll thread cotton...

    best strawberry juice?

I totally agree...though I categorize it more as a pomegranate than a strawberry (though it has both). Regardless, I picked up a bottle of this at a B&M in a city that I was passing through on a trip; it was so good that on my way back home I stopped to get another bottle. Sadly, however, the...

    Protank coils

For regulated devices I prefer 30 gauge Kanthal. It is sturdier and allows for more wraps than 32 gauge, while having a much better response time than 28 gauge. I typically wrap them to 1.3 Ohms for my Provari and get good results.

New to RBAs - Kraken vs Kayfun 3.1 vs Taifun GT

I have the following clones from FT: two 3.1's, two KFL+/R91 style, and two Taifun GT. Here's my review: Of the Kayfun clones, the 3.1 is far superior, in my opinion, as to build quality than the KFL+/R91 style clone. In the latter, the juice channels are more shallow and barely meet where...
