    DIY Day One

Okay, so... I got in a shipment from Wizard Labs today, and now I'm rocking the 1ml and 10ml syringes. WOW! What a difference. I'm going to chuck 25 1ml and 25 3ml pipettes now. I made one more complicated recipe in a 5ml tester: Banana Cookie (TFA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie 15%, TFA Banana...

I rebuilt my A6 again last night, actually, with 32 gauge Kanthal from TemCo. It came out at 1.5 Ohms. I've had the 32 gauge Kanthal break off in the post hole of the A6, so now I don't tighten down the screws as hard; that seems to do the trick - secure, but not super tight. For me, a single...

USPS tracking says that my 1ml and 10ml stuff (as well as EM) from RTS will arrive tomorrow, so I'll be experimenting with some more complicated recipes tomorrow.

Another thing to consider is something that PBusardo mentioned, and I agree with. The HH .357 is kind of like studio monitors instead of a home or car stereo. Studio monitors color the sound less and, therefore, more faithfully reproduce the source material. I tend to save the HH .357 for...

Dripping atomizer recommendations for a newbie

You're probably right. I don't have VW, so I have to be careful. For example, I run my Custom HH .357 at 5.3 volts (which is what they recommend for 2.5 Ohms), but if I were to exchange it for my 510 Canon from Ikenvape, I might fry it because it's at 1.5 Ohms. I have learned to always turn...

As to the "learning curve" on the HH .357, it's not that big of a deal, really. My rule is to start my pull before pressing the button and stop pulling after releasing it. It needs suction to work properly. Actually, I've started doing that with all of my delivery devices so that it comes...

Dripping atomizer recommendations for a newbie

This... If you don't use them too much, just for testing flavors, they can last quite a while, but they wouldn't hold up to heavy dripping, which is why I use disposables for flavor testing and RDA's for evening dripping sessions.

Exactly. Also, I'm sensitive to the taste of artificial sweeteners, i.e., I can taste the littlest bit and don't like it, so maybe EM will work better for me.

Which mod are you vaping with right now?

DIY Strawberries & Cream in a carto-tank with Ikenvape Fusion carto on a Provari Mini set up for an 18650 with two Tatroe extension rings and a Tatroe base.

I agree 100% I started with a stainless steel A6. It's probably too small for dual coils, but it's easy to build a single coil. The air holes are decent. Then I moved up to a Trident clone with the variable air holes. Figuring out the sweet spot took a little bit of work, but it was worth...

Yeah, I do that, too. It's not as clean as disposables, but burning off the juice and dripping a new one works pretty good for me, too. Yeah, it's really quite simple to do RDA's, and when I'm better at doing RDA's, then I'll get into Genesis style RBA's. To the OP, it sounds like the...

Dripping atomizer recommendations for a newbie

I use disposable 510 drip atomizers for flavor testing. I have cheapies, but I also have the more expensive, though reasonably priced 510 Canon from Ikenvape and the high-end Custom HH .357 from Avid, which hopefully will prove to be more cost effective the longer it lasts. I don't know of...

is vaping cheaper than smoking cigaretters???

I went from over a carton every week to spending more upfront getting set up for vaping. I'm closing in on my 2 month mark of no cigarettes. I've definitely spent more, but I'm starting to get it under control. I bought a Provari Mini with two Tatroe extension rings and a Tatroe base - that...

    dry eyes

I typically never had problems with dry eyes before vaping, but now sometimes I do. I think that staring at ECF contributes just as much as vaping does, if not more, though. I've used eye drops a few times, too. Additionally, I wonder if some of the flavorings contribute, as Atomic Fireball...

I just bought a dozen or so cheapo clearance 510 drip atomizers for .50 cents each, but generally speaking I stick to higher quality disposables for flavor testing (Custom HH .357 from Avid & Ikenvape 510 Canon from Ikenvape), and for evening drip relaxing, I use rebuildable drip atomizers (SS...

It's what's inside that really matters but...

Every 30ml bottle that I've gotten from Alice in Vapeland is amber colored glass and has a charm attached to it. Additionally, AiV uses three labeling stickers: two on the front and one on the back. If such details matter, as this thread is all about, then these details matter. Lastly, the...

I'm vaping Strawberries & Cream right now...tanked it up in a carto-tank. I used 15% and think that closer to 20% would be better, but still...it's tanked up and I'm vaping!
