good life vapor deadly sin recipe?
I tried this recipe. I didn't have vanilla swirl, so I subbed vanilla cupcake. It didn't turn out as I had hoped. I added some sweetener and that helped. Looks pretty good, especially for the first. The top leg could be shorter, bringing the top of your wick closer to the positive post; this would reduce chance of a hot spot developing on it. I bought some, 1 foot, and used it up. After about 3-4 cleanings it broke down. I enjoyed using it, and it lasted longer than ekowool. coincidently (perhaps) I developed a sore throat and bronchial irritation, which may have been a cold. Tightness of wrap around eco wool
I've been using ekowool for a while, and I tighten the kanthal tight, and it performs better than silica wick in terms of tolerating heat. Actually it out performs silica, period. the fix is to put a brass shim in the button housing. Search this thread for shimming, ther's alot of info many pages back with photos, instructions and everything. I have 2 and had to shim them both, and there is instantly no heat. You'll need some brass shimming material that can be found at...
