I think it's that if you have longer wicks you can add more juice because it soaks it up. I put about 2 1/2 inches off each side, and I can open it with 8 drops or so in it and not spill anything. I'm relatively new to this set up, and mine has been going through juice pretty fast. I've been starting at about 1.5 to 2 turns, I'm thinking that must have something to do with it. My coil is about 1.5. Are the Term-C's known for going through juice fast? -

I think I have the v2 because there is only one channel with exposed ceramic, the other side is SS. Yea, I remember reading that too. I don't think I got any detergent on anything. I just opened the feed up all the way and closed it back down, then opened it 2 turns and I think it tastes better. -

No, it's not the machine oil taste. It's almost a plastic taste that just masking the juice. Yes, DIY is definately the way to go; I keep saying I'll get around to it. Thanks for the advice, I think I'll try to salvage the juice, and give gently burning the ceramic a try. -

Thanks c00lkatz, I went for it. haven't got the Naut going yet. Taking my time, no need to rush. The threads are tight and fine on some pieces. The machining is really good; it's a nice atty. I'm so glad I got the GGTS base. It'll be my first time using something other than a 510 connection. -
