    newbie here

Greetings, welcome to the forum! I've wondered whether there are any non-smokers who now vape, I think you're the first person like this that I've come across! What was you very first vape like? -- Glenn

    coil compatability

I've never seen anything like the list you're asking about; whoever makes one will be an ECF hero! EVOD replacement coils, for example, also work in the PT2 and the Anyvape Davide, and something showing these sorts of compatibilities would be very useful to newcomers, I imagine. -- Glenn

    E liquid

Greetings, welcome to the forum. Somewhere on ECF there's a PIF (pay-it-forward) subforum where I believe people can put up offers to pass along stuff like this. Hopefully you'll find something close to home -- do you get import restrictions on e-liquid coming into the UK? -- Glenn

top/ highest quality 14500 mechanical mods?

The J2P Pisces Mini looks very good. I don't have one -- I decided I wanted a larger battery size -- but I considered one of these seriously. The J2P Pisces Mini - Vape Squad -- Glenn

    Tried some premium ejuice.

Nice! I wish we had access to some of these flavours north of the border. Welcome to the forum. -- Glenn

    IT has shipped...

Do you already have an APV with 18XXX batteries and a charger? You'll need these for sure, and the recommended batteries are AWs. I tried 18500 eFests (flat top) on my Mini, and they did not work. I take it you're not a total vape newcomer, and that you already have a 510 clearo or carto or RBA...

    passthrough battery

Greetings and welcome to the forum. Apart from the ProVari pass-thru add-on, I've never seen any sort of conversion kit, just dedicated pass-thru batteries. Are you talking about taking a regular battery and doing a DIY conversion? -- Glenn

    new vaper from hong kong

Greetings and welcome to the forum. A lot of people go with eGo-style batteries when they are starting out, coupled with a simple clearomizer, which is as close to plug-and-play as e-cigs get. Variable voltage batteries like the eGo Twist or Vision Spinner are pretty good. Or you could skip...

    Strange CE5 atomiser?

Greetings and welcome to the forum. There are clones of pretty much everything on the market, and if you're not careful, you can buy an item that you think is the original, but turns out to be a knock-off. I did this dance with a different clearomizer knock-off a couple weeks after I started...

Provari mini and aspire nautilus. Really hot vapor

Doesn't the Nautilus have adjustable air flow? An airier vape tends to be cooler, if you haven't tried that yet. -- Glenn

    New to ProVari!

Congrats on your new ProVari. Did I read your post correctly; i.e. your first Genesis build actually worked out ok? Congrats on that, too. It took me several builds before I even got into the ballpark with Genesis wicks and coils, thank heaven for the drill-bit method. -- Glenn

    Just my luck >_<!!!!!

Look on the bright side, at least you hadn't bought a cheap generic APV for which the response may well have been, 'better luck next time,' rather than a quick repair job. -- Glenn

    Any Washington Vapers out there?

Greetings and welcome to the forum. That tax proposal sounds scary, just hearing about it makes me want to stock up on e-liquid, and i'm not even in the same country. -- Glenn

    Stupid question regarding wattage

Greetings and welcome to the forum. As the saying goes, the only bad questions are the ones we don't ask (not counting ones asked while under the influence of alcohol ;) ). Most AVPs (and I believe this includes the MVP) has safety features that will keep the mod from firing under unsafe...

    Small E-Cig For Discrete/Bar Use

Greetings and welcome to the forum. When I started vaping, I wanted something small like a cigarette; I used a tiny 600 mAh eGo battery and a Davide (=PT2) mini, which is a pretty stealthy combo. With more advanced stuff, I use a mech mod with an 18350 battery, and a 2.5" tall RBA -- not...

    whats so great about provari?

Baditude talked about the rattlesnake effect (33 Hz PWM vs 800 Hz) -- if you have ever dry burned coils on a ProVari, you can actually see a brighter, steadier coil glow. Not sure everyone notices the diff, but there's an impact on taste -- when I got my first mech mod, I noticed this right...

These responses are just so irritating to a new member

I'm with BTD on this, i'd take the '65 Mustang in a heartbeat (though unfortunately my budget runs more towards Hondas). The status that comes with driving a classic American muscle car wouldn't kill me, but what it's really about for me is the look and feel of a beautiful piece of design and...

    My first Provari!

Cool! Congrats on the purchase. I bought my ProVari a few weeks ago, and i'm still thrilled with it (can't say that for many of the e-cig devices I have). -- Glenn

    Hot or cool vape

It depends a lot on the type of device you use. With clearomizers, for example, the Davide gives an airy, cool vape, while something like the Aspire BDCC has a tighter draw and a warmer vape. In my not too extensive experience, these qualities go together (airy+cool vs tight+warm). Welcome to...

Looking to make the next step.....

Are you looking for a backup APV or trying to get more than what you get from your Vamo? I'm not sure whether the SVD and ZMax will give you anything new (except maybe for build quality and reliability -- I have a Vamo, but neither of these other two devices). Mech mods are a different league...
