    Help with Nemesis clone

Glad you new purchase worked out, and good luck with the new setup. My $50 beginner's lesson is a drawer full of eGo batteries and clearomizers that I no longer even look at it. :D -- Glenn

How long does your coil/wick setup last?

Wow, 6 to 8 Ml's of e-liquid per day...I used vape about 2 to 3 Ml's per day, but with RBAs that number is creeping higher day by day. What nic level do you vape at, and did you lower your nic level when you started in on RBAs? -- Glenn

Does anyone have issues with their local stores and a lack of customer service??

I was at a vape shop yesterday where one of the sales guys showed me how to fix a wonky coil on one of my rebuildables, and then he demonstrated a build on his own rebuildable (and let me try it out). Find a place like this, and avoid the bad ones, though 'bad' simply means 'insanely busy'...

What size coil for kayfun lite?

There's lot of great threads and YouTube demo vids showing all kinds of possible builds. I'm not an expert, but I've been getting pretty good results using 28 gauge Kanthol, about 12 wraps around a 1/16th" drill bit, and using cotton for the wick. There's a recent KF thread talking about using...

First Successful Genny Build, Sort Of. A Couple Questions

Sounds good, adamfoul, thanks for the post. I've been thinking of trying 28 gauge, how many wraps and how many oHms did you end up with? -- Glenn

    Help with Nemesis clone

Greetings, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Below is a picture of the box that my HC Nemesis clone came in, I've seen these same boxes pictured on the HC website. It wouldn't surprise me to hear to that someone has 'cloned' the HC clone, trying to make a quick buck. As your results...

    Mechanical mod

Greetings Joe, what are you using now with your KF? I use a 3.1 clone with a Nemsis clone (HCigar), and it's a pretty good combo. But since I started using cotton for my KF builds, I use a regulated mod quite a bit (at least at home). Cotton wicking seems to be able to handle more volts/watts...

**official canvape thread** - Part 2

If I had seen your post yesterday before I went there, I would have asked. You could always email support. BTW I met Wes at the Mississauga location yesterday, what an awesome guy. I was lucky enough to catch him just before closing, when the market wasn't busy, and I had a chance to talk RBAs...

First Successful Genny Build, Sort Of. A Couple Questions

I'm still not at the 'a ha' moment of tension and contact, but getting closer. My latest build -- with a coil wrapped much more loosely than what I had been doing -- lit up without the resistance drop i'd been plagued by. At a vape shop, a really helpful guy helped me get all the shorts out, and...

First Successful Genny Build, Sort Of. A Couple Questions

Ya, a butane torch is on my shopping list, should have one soon. Right now, to use a gas stove, I have to run over to the neighbour's (mine is electric). Going to try the drill bit method, and then go visit a vape shop where one of the support guys has promised to give me a hand. Sooner or...

Kayfun/Russian wick setup that works great for me.

I tried another build this morning using Truman's extended wicks method (28 gauge kanthol on a 1/16" inch drill bit, a bunch of winds, 1.4 oHms). This just keeps getting better and better. :2cool: I'm going to have to plan on buying more e-liquid per week -- these builds really suck it up --...

    Geneis Style RBAs

I saw the Todd (ecigreviews) video on this method, and I definitely will try it once I get the right sized drill bit (The DrillBit Method - YouTube). Wouldn't mind knowing about this kink thing, just in case....um, maybe I should rephrase that. :D -- Glenn

    Is This A Good Buy?

Greetings FBH; I was leery about getting into coil rebuilding at first, and I've got zero mechanical skills when it comes to things as small as replacement heads, but once I tool the plunge I found it not hard at all to do, and it's totally worthwhile. Best bet is to start with 32 gauge (.2...

    Geneis Style RBAs

TrentTC you're the second person I've heard mention putting a kink in the coil leg to prevent hotlegs, how exactly do you do this? Do you make the kink before attaching the coil to the posts? -- Glenn

Brief Battery Question re. Mechanical Mod

Welcome to the forum, Epyx78. I moved from regulated mods to mechs a couple months ago, and have never looked back (although to be fair to my Vamo, I still use it occasionally). Good luck with your search. -- Glenn

Kayfun/Russian wick setup that works great for me.

I think that as long as the cotton stays wet, those top strands will stay 'glued' down. But I haven't taken the chimney off my KF clone since trying this method. I'm not an expert at all, so take this with a grain of salt, but I don't 'twist' the cotton, at least not the whole wick. I wet the...

Kayfun/Russian wick setup that works great for me.

Wow, folding an extra long cotton wick back on top of the coil really makes a diff, awesome suggestion. This has given me my best KF (clone) vape to date. Thanks for the thread! (Now if only I can find someone who can explain how to get good results with my genny ) -- Glenn
