I totally agree, stainless steel mesh is definitely more flavour-neutral than cotton or silica. The key is a proper build. Vaping on a mesh wick with hot spots can taste from not great to truly awful. -- Glenn- Glenn_K

I think there might be two kinds of vapers in the world, those who like AV Boba's Bounty/Gorilla Juice, and those who don't. Don't give up on trying mesh wick builds, it's really worth the effort, though the learning curve can be pretty brutal. Gennies were designed around the idea of SS mesh wicks, and once you get a build right, you'll understand why. The Drill Bit Method is a good starting point for mesh wick...- Glenn_K

You mean like a Hybrid kit? Such a thing would shave a couple MM off the KF height, which would be useful. As for achieving a flush look, I think the KF is only about 1MM less in diameter than the ProVari, going by eyeball measurement. I don't use my KF every day, and I think that beauty rings... -

I've got a couple gennies, and the vapor production and taste are unsurpassed, although it was very hard for me to learn how to do mesh wick builds.
