    I work at a machine shop and was thinking about building my own mech mod. Anybody have any good ideas/plans?? I really want one of those fancy Billet Box units, but what the hell...I do have machines to make it and spare time. THIS WILL NOT BE USED FOR RETAIL SALES. It will be for personal use...

    Glad to hear it! We need to convert more smokers ASAP, if they ever see how good it is, they'll never go back. I've converted 6 guys in my shop to vaping and they said it's the best thing they've ever done.:2c:

    How many tanks do you have in rotation, what are they?

    How do you like the 30B? Thought about getting one to try, but since I started vertical coiling my Protank, I can't let myself do it...:p

    Protank is the way to go! I rebuilt an old atomizer (vertical coil build, cotton wick) and it is still running strong after 3 weeks. Best luck I've had out of carto was 8 days.

    ProTanks are GREAT!! Bring It!!

    Gave up on Protanks(switched to carto tanks) a while back and just got back into them three weeks ago(ran out of cartos). Rebuilt an old head with a vertical coil and cotton wick and WILL NOT be going back to carto tanks! This thing is a beast and I've been using the same atomizer for 3 weeks...

    Why did you want to quit smoking ?

    Smoked 2 packs a day for 19 years. Quit by accident when I tried my 1st vaporizer. Wife loves that I don't smell like cigarettes anymore.

    Noobie needing help with MVP2

    Thanks again. I wish I had a "good" brick and mortar store around to talk with someone, but they aren't that friendly. Just ordered a Nautilus tank, so I hope it's the right choice. Going to try building a cotton wick in the mini to see if that helps.

    Thanks for the input people, that was fast! I'm vaping at 10 watts on both tanks and usually hit it for 6-7 seconds. Loved the taste of my carto tank, but keep flooding cartos with 50/50 MVB Mocha. Think I'll give those other tanks a shot.:vapor:

    still a smoker, want to switch

    I'm a noob too, but I dropped a 2 pack a day habit instantly when I started vaping. Go ahead and spend a little cash on a good starter kit ($50 for an MVP2) and find a good flavor (anything from Mt Baker is good). This stuff is much better than the disposables to me.

    Started vaping about a month ago and immediately quit analogs(2 pack a day). Started with a twist battery and quickly realized I needed something else, so I purchased a MVP 2. Works great, but I want more vapor! Any suggestions on what tanks preform best on this mod? Got a Protank mini(too airy)...
