    Kayfun meets Taifun: The eXpromizer

With mine I always use 28 gauge, around a 2mm syringe, about 8 wraps, comes out to 1.5-ish ohms, then pop it on either one of my Provaris or in my Kato box clone with a Kick2 at 15w. The trick with wicking these is to keep the cotton semi-loose in the coil to avoid popping and to make the wicks...

best mod for 70 or less?

Sigelei 20W Eleaf iStick Cloupor 30W (Hana Clone) ZNA Clone (Tobecco reportedly the best of the bunch)

    aspire atlantis

They say it's 40A but from what I've heard that's not continuous. It's actually closer to the 20A range. Not sure if that's true or not since the batteries aren't in circulation yet. The iStick actually can be used for dripping. I do it all the time with a Helios and a dual coil 1.3 ohm build...

    aspire atlantis

Assuming the coil doesn't come out even a hair lower than 1 ohm the iStick should fire it just fine. But there in lies the problem. A lot of pre-built coils come out +/- a bit, so you might run into some coils that just won't fire on an iStick.

    Dealers first......

With the pre-orders if people fail to read the great big in your face text, that's their problem. No one would fault ANY manufacturer/retailer for people getting anxious when it is spelled out in HUGE plain text that there WILL be delays, and the manufacturers/retailers would NEVER be held at...

    Dealers first......

I couldn't disagree more ENAUD. Dealers were making money hand over fist selling their Dragons online for heavily inflated prices, and the same is going to happen to the P3. The dealers are doing just fine. Perhaps not on the older products since it's generally easier to buy a Provari directly...

    Dealers first......

Yet another reason why the "retailer first" model has hurt Provape. How many times does Provape have to suffer because of problems like this? Let alone all the "retailers" that sold their beta P3s for hundreds of dollars over retail on Ebay. Just STOP Provape! Your retailers didn't make you...

Wicking frustration. Help me not hate cotton, please.

Well the device you're using can also be a factor. In my kayfuns I use a slightly thicker wick, but it's a different story in the Squape or Expromizer. The Squape needs as little cotton as possible to avoid flooding, and the Expromizer needs thin wicks but tons of cotton on the deck to avoid...

Wicking frustration. Help me not hate cotton, please.

The first rule of cotton is "less is more". Ideally you want very little resistance when feeding your wick into your coil. As JD1 said, cotton expands when it's wet, so if your wick is too thick, it'll get even more compressed by the coil and effectively cut off the juice flow to the coil. And...

Want another RBA but don't know enough about the different brands to make a decision

I'd actually recommend waiting for now. There are some new clones coming out, like for the Squape Reloaded and the Erlkonigen. Both of those are amazing authentic tanks, but the verdict is still out for the clones since nobody has them yet. If you don't want to wait though, I'd recommend...

I love my Kayfun 3.1 but this thing is huge

I agree. I've got a Kayfun 3.1 from HCigar, several Kayfun Lite+ clones, and an Ivogo Kayfun Mini. The Mini and the 3.1 are almost the same length using the default drip tips. The Mini is longer than a Lite+. Taking off the drip tips from a Mini and a Lite+ with a nano kit, the Lite+ is about...

P3: What would you prefer? Segmented or telescopic?

I already have Twins on my Mini I just bought off the classies and I love it. ;) I'm just hoping someone will come out with a telescopic mod that will match the P3. Kind of why I hope Provape will make a telescoping extension when they start releasing new colors. A gunmetal zenkote P3 with...

P3: What would you prefer? Segmented or telescopic?

I dunno. I just couldn't disagree more with the segmented crowd. :P I've never had a bad telescopic mod. The SVD tube does wiggle, I'll give you that. But being able to use any battery at any time without having to change out parts is so nice. And my Sigelei 20W tube is straight as an arrow...

P3: What would you prefer? Segmented or telescopic?

Color me confused. Why do so many people like the Twins telescopic extension then?

P3: What would you prefer? Segmented or telescopic?

So yeah, simple question. Would you rather have the segmented tubes that we've all seen for the P3 so far, or would you rather have a single telescopic tube like on the Sigelei 20w and a plethora of other devices? Personally I'd rather have a telescopic tube. There is nothing better for...

    P3 on eBay

I wonder if Provape maybe had their dealers sign some kind of agreement keeping them from selling the beta units? If not, they should have. But hey, if nothing else, maybe this will keep Provape from trusting their B&M dealers in the future. This is only proof that the B&Ms are going to do the...

What Color Mini's are Out There

I think in one of the fireside chat videos between Zen and pbusardo he said he keeps getting asked about a blue zenkote but apparently, of all the colors, it's one of the hardest to do and, thus, the most expensive. That being said, I'd be all over that color Provari too. It's my favorite color. ;)

Who is your favorite youtube reviewer and why?

A Bloody Good Vaping - The one I watched Safer Vapers for, who reviews things that hit the UK before it hits State side, and has a great sense of humor igetcha69 - Generally pretty quick reviews and he does builds on most/all of the rebuildables he reviews pbusardo - Easily the best reviewer...

    Post DNA 30 Regulated Mods

Well you're actually going to run into more mods than you'd want to list since a lot of mod makers are new starting to use the SX350 board as well as the DNA30 board. The only other mod that I can think of that runs in the 50w range would be The Duke. I'll try to dust out the old filing cabinet...
