    Honestly I think it's the base metal or the alloy mix that Kanger uses. I have a metal drip tip on my protank that I got with a mini RDA from Fasttech, and it made a completely unusable tank set up (due to the metallic taste) into one that I use most of the time now.

    Did you already replace the drip tip? I hated my PTII until I changed to a different drip tip. No more metal taste at all, even though my new drip tip is also metal. It must be the finishing on the inside or something--I rubbed and scrubbed the inside of the original to no avail.
