    That's it $40 for a tank when you can buy the whole thing for $20....even seen Plexiglas ones for $6. Really not worth the cost but maybe something can be done.

    I did the same thing with a AGAT-2 drilled the hole and didn't like it ...had to get a replacement one from Kidney Puncher. Now I try to buy atomizers with adjustable air holes.

    You can even put ekowool on mesh to help with hot spots.Picture hanging wire ...ok never used that. Got all my wire from KP too. Why not try silica wick just to get use to wrapping coils if mesh is giving you trouble.

    Don't have the bottom pin loose it supposed to be tight. Do you have the kick ring in if so take it out you don't need it if you don't have a kick. You don't need a new pin really.

    Try a few more wraps to bring the ohms down I use 32 ga and 28.You may want to get a small amount of ribbon wire.5 and try that. You don't have to torch to much just the top anyway. Never quenched any of my mesh, have you tried the cigarette paper trick.
