    Split pea soup is always good. You can cheat a bit and use leftover ham in jambalaya, too. Pound out boneless chicken breasts, cut the ham into spears and roll the chicken breasts around ham and canned pineapple slices. Dip in milk, roll in coconut flakes and bake.

    We have a BPS within 3 miles of us, and I never go there. I don't know why, other than it's always jammed and I hate crowded spots. My stepson is working there part time during the holidays and gets a discount on stuff. Dangerous!
