    thanks everyone!!! I have contacted the vendor. He was receiving blank emails from me, so I had to try from a different email acct. He has not answered me yet. Thanks for the advice.

    the bottom of the battery turns red to show it's charging and then goes out when it's fully charged. Do you mean the light goes from bright red (charging) to a dim red (done) or will the red light go all the way off???
