    Thanks Val... I enjoyed the read. In my case, I was aware of an up coming Nemesis launch and got in on the first run. This was a result of the modders participation on the forums. They work hard to make inventory, but they are wildly popular.

    The shim-stock I use is from K&S Engineering, and can be found in a multipack with varying thicknesses of brass sheets. There are usually displays at ACE Hardware Stores and some Hobby/Craft shops. A place that deals with Model Railroads or RC vehicles would almost definitely have a display.
