    I've been using PTs (not USB battery devices which aren't pass throughs BTW) from day one on a computer, and I've also used the same ports for charging all sorts of devices. I've never had a atty/carto which would fire with 500mA. Computer ports can and will provide much more then 500mA.

    They do have a bit of a problem sometimes due to the almost flush positive terminal on the charger. Most newer chargers have a more prominent, protruding terminal.

    Interesting. That's pretty normal behavior, usually there is a threshold voltage that a battery needs to be at before charging will start, ie <~4.1V. I really wouldn't worry about it.

    Have you ever actually vaped the 18350 till it died? So it seems odd to you that an 18490 with ~50% more mAh than an 18350 would last longer?

    Yea I figured, but UltraFires are the most counterfeited batteries ever, and FWIW the biggest one they actually make is 3000mAh. It's hard to tell what brand is actually under that shiny wrapper or if is even new.
