    n00b to modding seeks help

Spend some time perusing the Modding Forums and you'll see how cheap, little magnets can be used to hold the covers on, for plastic or wood enclosures.

No matter what box you use charging batteries in series will still be a concern.

Wood stealth mod 2 1/2 inch tall with DNA 12

Hard to find any specs on the Efest. Andy Wan lists his 16340 @ 4A, his 18350 @ 6A. Big jump with his 18490 @ 15C/16.5A.

What's the real deal about stacking batteries?

Peruse these forums going back about 3 years, mods using stacked batteries probably outnumber single cell mods 20 to 1. How many of these do you think have been sold? LDO 5 volt, 3.0 amp Regulator with Control Pin 5v 510 Box Mod Kit 5V Regulated Mod - Ken's Boxmods

Magnetic switch for bottom fore mod

I don't think so. Note the pic from your vid, the broad/wide end of the spring comes in contact with the bottom of the cell. Looks like it's made to not come in contact with the neg plate.

Magnetic switch for bottom fore mod

Seems very similar to the Smok telescope. The Smok adds an insulator ring, this one looks like it relies on the cell's shrink wrap to keep it 'off'. Probably not a good idea. I don't know how much 'hot switching' either would do as the springs aren't really part of the circuit...

Please help me pick a battery for my 5v juicebox

Unless things have changed your results seem very atypical. TrustFires on the whole seem better in all ways over the Ultrafires. As far as 900mAh here's a test of a UF14500 at a rather light .8A discharge. You'll see the actual tested capacity at a 3V cut-off is 592mAh.

Seeing as I see serial numbers I assume this is a sales thread that doesn't belong in the Modding Forum.

Vaping ain't the same as smoking when drinking alcohol.

Yea great advice if you want to die sooner. Non drinkers are out lived by drinkers, even heavy drinkers. Even Jesus Christ realized a party with no drink called for a miracle. Smart man.

First the VAMO - Now the Anyvape!

The aluminum looks like a big win. Stainless had almost twice the resistance than the aluminum and anodized aluminum quite durable, strong, ight and scratch resistant. My old 69 Buick weighed almost a ton more than my latest car, I don't miss it. The tail cap especially looks good and...

Grey 18350 Batteries that came with kit not lasting according to MAH

Ir's kinda odd how there is always this Panasonic IMR talk. From Panasonic's own datasheet. BTW that's an IMR on the left vs. the Panasonic High Drain on the right.

Single 18350 question. Seeking pro advice.

Take it out when it stops working. As far as 900mAh it's questionable if that number is accurate. Panasonic for their Li-Ions drags them down to 2.5V to determine their mAh rating. You also have to consider how these boosters actually work. For one thing the booster is not 100% efficient...

    Unprotected batteries for the Vamo

It doesn't work that way. A single battery in a boosted configuration would need to put out considerably more amps than what is read at the atty, especially as the battery drains it will have to provide high and higher amps to maintain a consistent/regulated output. There is also the...
