    AW has a rather extensive line of batteries, with many IMRs, two of their 18650Li-Ions are Panasonic. Panasonic doesn't even make true IMRs. The bulk of AW's batteries are made in China.

    Just received my AGA-T

    With a properly wrapped coil oxidation becomes less of a factor. In Petar K's method of pre-wrapping his coil then dropping in a wick he doesn't do any of the fancy oxidation dance. He just rolls it and gives a it quick flaming.

    Naw, check your ohms at the atty connector where it will attach to the PV. You ALWAYS want to check the resistance of the complete assembly/path/circuit, not just the coil/wick.

    SLB/DSE has a long history of making second rate junk. Their original 510 copies where not held in high regard. Their DSE905, a Screwdriver copy was a joke. I think it went thru 5 revisions. They also make lame atties and cartos that no one ever recommends.

    No one can give you a definitive answer. Easy enough to try though. FWIW VG is not the universal panacea most like to claim. For me I get a 'heavy lung' feeling from too much VG.
