GV's New MonsterMesh RBA - orings?

What a cop out. Getting them to vape properly is one thing, but how they fit together should not be considered 'experimental'. Did ya closely inspect the o-rings and the inside of the tube for any obvious problems? You could move to a thick glass tank...

Best SS Wick Weave Type and Material

I'd say the bulk, if not all of the original Genesis dabblers used plain weave. With SS there is also the 'L' versions, low carbon.

Why Does It have To Say This On The Site? Its The ONE Thing I Truly Disliked About Provari & Provape...

I guess I'm missing something, the only thing I saw at ProVape was: You should add to your list any vendor that calls the Joye eGo USB Battery a pass through (they're not) or sells a China VV PV that does 3-6V (they don't). What liars.

    Watt meter

You are trying to measure the load (watts consumed), "without firing" means there is no load to measure. It also seems that in your method, the neg (current) is running through the meter at all times. There has to be some parasitic resistance involved. With my way once in the vaping/bypass...

Battery Life: ProVari vs. "Kicked" mods

With boosted PVs your numbers don't tell the whole story about how many amps the battery needs to supply. Lets look at '5.2V @ 3.4Ω = ~8 Watts, but draws 1.53 Amps'. What will a single boosted battery need to supply as it drains and how more it will need to supply when it drops to 3.6V to...

Watts do not matter. Its all about wire temp. Read on…

The popular Cisco coils quickly come to mind. Same ohms, which one is the Cisco? :) What is a watt? The watt (abbreviated W) is the International System of Units' (SI) standard unit of power (energy per unit time), the equivalent of one joule per second. The watt is used to...

    Watt meter

Looks like it may be kinda tough to do in a mechanical fashion. Looks like simply paralleling it on your DNA outputs ain't gonna cut it, so all that is left is to replace the leads to your atty with the unit itself. But that means it's always 'live'. Although the wires look beefy, I can't...

    my vv booster altoids tin

I take it you missed this from the datasheet? How about the ProVari? From ProVape's FAQ More. Power converters stretch battery budget | Electronics News That said the various efficient switching assemblies that modders use from TI, Murata, Dimension Engineering etc, have been...

    Dragon Tube 18650

That's not a good idea, always best to use all new fresh cells from the same batch. Using a spring on the positive post of the cell is also not recommended. And this is a good thing?

Comment by 'WillyB' in 'Stainless Steel Mesh vs. Silica Rope'

Been at this a while. The first silica I tried was the rope that was recommended in Vaporer's thread from many years ago. It was pretty terrible. Not all silica is created equal. It's like pizza, some is better than others. That said I've got no problems with silica and I like the way...

Introducing the Griffin Rebuildable Atomizer Tank

It shouldn't make a difference unless it's glowing. As long as the wire is firm on the base to the first wrap.

Introducing the Griffin Rebuildable Atomizer Tank

I think you may find 1/16" a tad too big. Officially that translates to 1.6mm, but unless you use a drill press the bit will wallow some and you'll end up even larger. Note many have found the Griffith's new 1.5mm hole too airy. These seem perfect (except the title doesn't quite match up?)...
