    Vague generalizations are just that. eBay China sellers that use the USPS E-packet option are fast enough. With Fast Tech I was offered the free USPS shipping option, it took them 3 days to get to the China post office and then 6 days to my house.

    One thing to note, when drilling by hand (no press) the hole will always be larger than the official stated size. I agree with the posters that said it doesn't take much to noticeably change the draw. I use some some cheap cone shaped diamond burrs (under running water) to open mine up...

    That is correct, drill the hole in the top cap properly and go for a nice tight press fit.

    Almost identical to one of the first mods I built. Why only an 18350? Mine uses an 18650. Never had a reason to use a screw or some other fastening system on the bottom cap, press fit works just fine. Just built an 26650 one the other day. That one has a lever/snap action switch...

    Maybe you are just being too hasty with your judgements. Give it a chance, try vaping a larger amount, the off notes you don't like may just disappear as sensory adaption kicks in. There are many things in life that often grow on me.
