Not an expert but this is what I have gleemed from other threads, posts and the internet in general:
Chemical and physical reactions are slowed at lower temperatures.
Plastic may contribute to the taste of flavored e-juice with lots of ingredients but leaching or oxidation of PG or VG Nicotine...
This is a "Review" thread. He has told me that when he get the time he will start a "Supplier" thread.
Seems he just can't help responding to anything "safety" related, infarction or not.
Nope, not like water.
Plus, you will be hard pressed to "freeze" Nic juice, PG or VG.
It's the water in the beer that causes the bottle to blow :)
John gets an infarction for posting here.
Glycerin will absorb water from the air. The first percent or so happens fairly fast. 3 to 4% water content is likely by the time you finish off a gallon jug :)
99.5, 99.7% has mostly water as a contaminant.
VG can be thinned to the same viscosity as PG with a few percent of Clean water.
This also gives a lower vaporization temperature than either all PG or all VG.
Mixtures of 50/50, 30/70, 70/30 PG/VG gives results between the two.
High nic (100mg/ml) in PG would end up about 80/20 VG/PG if cut to 20mg/ml.
I vape 12mg/ml, at 70/30 and I don't notice the PG.
Most folks that can't take PG, notice very little with 80/20 VG/PG.
Have you tried that?
wolcen,
You're gonna need a spice rack to hold all those :)
I only do a couple flavors, over and over. I know, sounds boring.
John sells me these in a 'special size' :)
shhhhh
@shotdown,
The 10ml graduated cylinder is really handy for mixes between 5 and 10ml.
48mg/ml is a really good choice as you will end up being able to accurately read the amount of each ingredient, but more importantly the Total Final Volume. Better than guessing with a juice bottle :)
Those...
The bottom edge (at the threads) of some cartos is thin and can get damaged. This could cause an intermittent short.
Look over the edges closely.
or you could have tried to vape batteries on a Friday that were made on a Monday,
or not :)
Meter be a good thing.
Digital Multi-Meter. Measures battery voltage, carto resistance, cheap.
$10 gets you one a little better than a $5 one. Big box stores, auto parts stores, on-line. Easy to learn how to use for e-cig applications.
Robert,
Sounds like you are thinking this through before jumping. Good :)
It also sounds like you can do the math, another good :)
Quick and dirty check is Total mg of nic added (like 3.7 X 48 is 177.6mg of nic)
divided by Total final volume (10ml) gives Final nic strength in mg/ml...
Last post on your thread then:
I did not report you.
I asked for an explanation of the odd density in your COA.
It was you that gave the explanation of it being "Heavy Metals".
If you would like to offer a better explanation, fine, but that much contamination in your nic is really not...
(9X48 + 1X24) / 10
Use mg/ml for strength and it won't be confusing.
ie, 48mg/ml and 24mg/ml
Total mg of Nic divided by total final volume
Result would have almost no flavor.
36mg/ml is pretty "hot".
Other than picking the 510 charger instead of the eGo charger the cartos you listed aren't really low enough to have killed the batteries. 2.0 - 2.2 ohm is "old school" low resistance but should be OK for a 650mah eGo clone.
1.5 to 1.7 ohm is LR now days and a strain on some clones less than...
If you are just cutting base shake the cylinder (covered with saran wrap) let the bubbles settle, record volume, transfer as much as you can. Tilt the cylinder (covered) and let the mix drain to a low spot in the cylinder and transfer one more time. You won't live long enough to get all of a...
you can organize your ingredients to get the 'important ones' out and into your storage container.
Measure the Nic base with an appropriate size instrument. The first 10ml of the 50ml cylinder will be difficult to accurately measure.
Using the 10ml cylinder or syringe to measure the Nic...
Vaping something that your body tells you is bad is easy to avoid. If your juice causes strange sensations, it could be too strong (nic content), you could be sensitive to one of the ingredients.
If any of the ingredients are contaminated, Nic, PG, VG, then is would be possible to accumulate...
