    Canadian Rebuildable's and stuff thread!

Just waiting on a credit card payment to go through, and then I'm pulling the trigger on a DID. Wheeeeee! Can't wait!

My Final Resolve To Quit Vaping

Well, I'm in the boat of not seeing too much of you around on the forum, but I wish you all the best in your drive to quit. No addiction is good for you, and when it's time, it's time. I don't know if I'll ever be in your place as far as actual vaping is concerned, because it's just too fun...

Important need help (just got my first starter kit for e-cigs)

I understand this is frustrating to you. We all do; we've all been first-timers. We do, however, need something to work with when trying to help you. Please be as descriptive as possible when you're saying something doesn't work. "A whole lotta nothing" is a whole lotta unhelpful. "I push...

You might be a Canadian If................

Nanaimo bars are super-great, and I've got a recipe for a variation that uses a peanut butter base layer, which is pretty darn awesome as well.

    Canadian Rebuildable's and stuff thread!

Recidivus brought this up in another thread, but I figured I'd bring it up here, since it's a little more on topic. It appears as though Vaporgeek has (or will have eventually, since it's out of stock) a Genesis-style atty for quite an attractive price-point: Rebuildable Atomizer My curiosity...

Atomic Nuclear Atomizer and Frenh Propaganda

In other words, he has his ups and downs, but he's a Feynman, top to bottom, then? ;) Jib. Cut. Good!

Atomic Nuclear Atomizer and Frenh Propaganda

In my interactions with friends and colleagues, I'm usually the one making jokes like this. So long as one person laughs, I claim validation. Your joke, sir, has just been validated. I like the cut o' yer jib.

    Welcome a newbie please

The sense of smell kinda creeps up on you. (As does the bouquet of certain bodily emissions...) At least it did for me. What was really a WHAM! moment for me was when my tastebuds recovered. You could say they just woke up. Before I went-went. (Sorry. Wham!. Couldn't resist. *ducks*)...

    Caution with batteries: Explosion story!

I managed to short a AAA NiMH with my keys in my pocket once, and that little bugger got uncomfortably hot against my thigh. Now I'm super-duper careful: if I need to put a battery in my pocket, nothing else is allowed in there that is made of metal, has metal on it, or even was manufactured...

    Battery Explosion

Ouch! Glad there was relatively little damage and that you're sharing this with the rest of the community. I managed to short a AAA rechargeable NiMH with my keys in my pocket once, and the really hot battery against my thigh was enough to make me super-duper careful with every future battery...

Atomic Nuclear Atomizer and Frenh Propaganda

Just imagine. The Mr. Fusion e-cig. Dump in a bottle of unwanted e-liquid, or a spent carto or something and vape until Doomsday. "Chargers? Where we're going we won't need... chargers."

    Moded my Jazz cartopipe

Makes sense. I do remember from my research that the outer diameter of a 510 female connector and the "standard" bore diameter for the mortise in a pipe shank are about the same, so that would be fairly easy to mate. It's more a question of how best to house the battery and switch the circuit...

    Moded my Jazz cartopipe

That is one purdy pipe. :hubba: I've been looking at repurposing my old pipes into vaping equipment. Just gotta take some measurements and figure out how everything would fit. And then somehow acquire the skills to put it all together. Also I could then justifiably work on crossing "carve...

    1 year smoke free

Huzzah! Three cheers for one year! Which, I suppose, means that I get one cheer for four months today. :D

Anyone else going to Urban Vapour's grand re-opening in TO?

Speaking of cops and physics, here's a nerdy joke: So, a cop's just pulled Werner Heisenberg over. He walks up to the driver's side window, and says, "Sir, do you know how fast you were going back there?" Heisenberg replies, "Nope, but I knew exactly where I was."

Electronic cigarettes do not damage the heart

I'm glad we finally have some advocates in the medical profession. I saw an interview with Dr. Farsalinos on Youtube (a recording of one of the vape shows in which he talked about this study actually), and he said he converted from smoking to vaping during one of his preliminary studies between...

Well, after watching reviews and tutorials and reading the posts in here, I'm sold. Next big purchase is officially going to be a DID.

Knowing how fast Juggy responds to customer opinions, he's probably got his recipe about 90% perfected by now. :)

Confused About Low Resistance vs Regular Resistance with Varitabe Voltage Batteries

Power (watts) = voltage squared over resistance. Watts = heat. You'll probably not want to go any higher than 4 volts for the 1.8 ohm cartos. This'll give you 8.88888(a lot of eights) watts, which is quite a bit, power-wise. I've heard as a rule of thumb that 7-9 watts is the Goldilocks...

    Welcome a newbie please

Sounds intriguing. I suppose it's creamier than a regular caramel. *Waits fervently for nomination for annual Captain Obvious award.* Is it more or less sweet as compared to other caramels? Edit: Jeepers H. Crackers, Mike, lay off the booze a touch...
