Ooooh, shiny! I'ma have to do some reading up on that there Svoemesto thing, see what it's all about.

    Here comes the acid test.

Sometime today, I officially become a homeower for the first time. Yes, I deliberately left out the N. What does that have to do with vaping? Well, there are some renos to do (nothing extraordinarily huge), packing, moving and unpacking, and a lot of little unforeseen things that will pile up...

    Well, here it is.. finally....

It doesn't really surprise me that the DND is taking their stance on this from another government agency. It frustrates me and saddens me, but it doesn't surprise me. What really floors me about Health Canada's statement is that they say this is dangerous because PG is an irritant and nicotine...

Good to know, about the VG. Definitely don't want that acrolein anywhere near my lungs. I'm no stranger to heating up metal, as part of the riveted maille process involved annealing the steel rings so they'd be soft enough to pierce, as well as tempering the piercing drift. I've got a propane...

    Taking the plunge.

Well, things in my blogging world might get a little sporadic for the next little while. Why, you may ask? Today, I officially become a homeower. Yes, I deliberately left out the N. Some time today, the lawyer's office is going to call, and I'm going to go pick up the keys to the new house...

    *** DIY-eJuice.com Now open for business ***

Everything I've tried so far has tasted great. Far as your concentrated tobaccos go, (or any that you have up for sale for that matter) are any of them on the drier, nuttier side? Both the Dunhill and RY4 are quite good, but very similar in flavour, I find.

Gentlemen's Reserve / Tasty Vapor Juice Reviews

Cherry Limeade is fan-bloody-tastic. I quite enjoyed the sample of Rugged Blend I ordered, too. In fact, the only flavour I've really had any issue with was the TV chocolate cherry. It was just weird. I find, though, that the GR tobaccos that I've tried (Burley and Rugged Blend) get a bit of...

    SS LT+ Leaky ViVi = :(

Let's have a moment of silence for Shades' LT. ... Might the compressed air have knocked loose an electrical connection? Maybe? Good to know the Vivi's working out well for you at any rate.

Wow! Thanks for the leg-work! :) I'm a bit of a tinkerer when it comes right down to it, so I don't really mind fiddling around with small parts. Insert jokes here. :) I used to make maille (biggest completed project was a coif and aventail); I coiled and cut all my own rings, and even...

    Canadian Rebuildable's and stuff thread!

So, I've been eyeing up rebuildables in the last week or so, after actually sitting down and watching a review or two. I've gone from "Why would anyone want to *do* that?" to "Hey, this is actually really cool!". Problem is, is that I feel like I'm starting all over again, knowledge-wise...

    Review: Four e-liquids from Jugheads

I figured I could take a break from posting yesterday since I double-posted on Sunday. Thought I'd take the blog in a bit of a different direction today, so I'm going to do a review write-up on some e-liquid that I purchased from Jugheads a while back and have been vaping pretty steadily ever...

Thanks! That could work quite well. I'll have to pick some up next time I order. Edit: Thanks for reading, too! I always get the feeling when I post that I'm tossing a message in a bottle into the sea. It's always gratifying to know that someone's reading.

Blogging about blogging. And more DIY. (Like you were expecting anything else.)

I'm not really sure what to write about today. I said I'd try to post once per day about my vaping adventures, content and circumstances permitting, so I'm officially choosing "whatever", or possibly "meta-bloggery" as the topic, or at least the jumping-off point today. Seems like I'm...

That last one should be attributed to Terry Pratchett, if I'm not mistaken.

    Diy

Thank you! With blogs, I tend not to stay interested for very long, but I think vaping is something I can keep on about. Glad to know I have at least one reader. :D $2.50-$3.00? Wow. I did a quick 'n' dirty calculation on what I ordered and came to about $7.50 per bottle, including...

    Just received some good news!

My wife got off the phone just now with a friend of ours, and it turns out she and her husband made the switch to vaping 2 weeks ago. They picked up a couple of kits from the local flea market (I didn't realize we had a vape booth there) and they've been going at it (the vaping, I mean ;) )...

a how to fix tight/no draws on phoenix/firebird

The 1.5 ml clearos come with a syringe, but the 3ml does not. I used the needle I picked up with my DIY supplies, myself.

    Memorable quotes

One that's always resonated with me is "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people." from the film adaptation of V for Vendetta. Another one, from Neil Gaiman's American Gods: "There's never been a true war that wasn't fought between two...

a how to fix tight/no draws on phoenix/firebird

Sorry to threadsurrect, but I've got a question about the 3ml Firebird and leaking. Is an 18 gauge sharp needle too big to be using to fill this thing? I noticed that one cause of leaking can be that the fill hole isn't sealing up properly, and that's really the only explanation I can think of...
