The Twists are excellent for everyday or for back up - reliable, good battery life, give you vv and are not expensive. The trick is to remember where the chargers are. :) Nothing sadder then to realize *every* battery is dead and the charger is in the desk at work.
Hmmm ... sounds like you're ready for a zombie apocolypse. :)
I'm still trying to figure out how many consumables I need to keep on hand, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to get an idea what more experienced vapers feel is "enough".
Batteries/PVs: Looking at my pile, I'm a bit...
I got the kit a couple of weeks ago and I like it.
The batteries are not variable voltage, but I love the shape. They fit very comfortably in the hand and don't stick out like a 1100mah Twist does. I've been using the batteries themselves with other tanks/clearos. Plus - they are geeky...
I strongly recommend the vivi nova v2 or v2.5 (not sure what the diff is). I was okay with the SD, but find the vivi easier to clean, no break in period (just let the juice soak the wicks for a bit) and doesn't leak. The vivi comes with a drip tip, but you can replace with any standard drip...
Good luck, Jedi. I've toured the Toronto and Montreal ACC's as well as a couple of towers ... they are amazing. In Montreal, the fellow we were dealing with showed us the old display equipment and how they used to control traffic by having to remember which blip was which. Unreal - it must...
Oh ... that is the definition of cruel and unusual punishment. Staring at the e-juice, atomizer and drip tip with no batteries.
Pic's too small to figure out what flavours you got - you'll have to give us your thoughts on them once you have a chance to test them out. If you're looking...
Ottawa over here. :)
Primarily using my Ego Twists with the Vivi Nova or a modded clearo ... lots of other bits and pieces in my vaping tickle trunk (for those who are truly CDN and grew up with Casey and Finnigan). Still searching for that perfect storm of device, accessory and juice. :)
Part Two:
Tanks
Esco2 - This is a big tank. 6ml is a lot of juice and I consider this one a commitment - so much that it took me a week to decide which juice to try in it. :) I've only just started using it - flipping it from the Esco battery to the twist to a EVO to put it through its...
Hey there ... thought I'd throw my 2 cents into this.
Batteries:
Esco 2 - This is an ego type battery without variable voltage. It gives a good bit of power, but you can't ratchet it up or down to find your happy place. Most people start off with an Ego type battery and this is one is an...
I'm rather tempted by the Reo's as well. Saw some at the vape meet in Perth and was intrigued enough to check out the site. I'm with farmer bric - it is an expensive investment and I've been burned before. They do seem to have some very solid reviews and die hard fans. This is on the list...
Thank you everyone! I used one of my eyeglass type screwdrivers and it worked like a charm. I now have a full complement of batteries again - and my burgeoning panic of "omigod, what if my battery run out and I can't get the others to work" has abated. A great, simple fix.
I'm hoping you'll be off the antibiotics soon - I can't imagine having to deal with that long of a recovery. I can't find the party emoticon that smile'n'shine used, but I'll raise my glass with you as well.
Now then, if you're looking for a place to store all those juices ... ;)
I still carry a half pack of smokes in my backpack - having them means I don't obsess about what I will do if I need one. And for the last six weeks, I haven't needed them.
Where's classwife and her cookies when you need 'em? :D
Just to bring us back to the original topic - Juggy rocks. I've been unable to let my sample of Banana's Foster steep - it is amazingly good fresh out of the padded envelope.
I had the opposite prob as the OP - Twist battery dead, charger said green. I tried martinc's suggestion of using a 510-510 and the battery charged. Now I'm having a hard time getting my clearo's to connect properly - and using the 510-510 isn't working anyomre. I suspect that the battery pin...
