    Sounds like you shorted out the wire and it blew due to an improper build. Careful. You should always check your coils with a multimeter before firing them, especially on an 18350 mechanical. The Noble's likely fine.

    How did you stop smoking?

    I disagree stating, unilaterally, that one has to make a commitment to make the switch. I posted earlier on this thread that I had no intention of quitting after 30 years of smoking cigarettes. Stumbled upon vaping. Now two years smoke free. Whatever works for the individual is the best solution.

    Not a clone, but maybe an eGo twist or Vision Spinner? Voltage adjustment from...I think...3.2 to 4.7. About $30. Decent voltage adjustment at a lower cost. But they look nothing like, nor have anywhere near the features of a provari.

    I stopped accidentally. I co-worker showed up one day with a disposable. I was fascinated by it. I decided to try one out thinking it may help me cut down on my pack-a-day habit. About 3-4 weeks later I stopped smoking altogether because vaping worked so well. Completely unexpected.

    Definitely function over form for me. If a device doesn't work well I don't care how nice it looks. With that said, I really appreciate the build quality and aesthetics of many high-end mechanicals, and have purchased a few. But if they were flawed functionally, I wouldn't have purchased them.
