Good advice here from Salt, nila and njay. Not much to add but I take it off and blow out the center tube once or twice a day. Just blow out through the mouthpiece. Think this has already been answered but it looks like Kanger makes replacement heads with short and long wicks. Think some vendors repackage as well. Makes it even harder to tell what is real and what is a knockoff. Starting to think that is almost by design. ALso see vendors postiing reviews...- Apptiger

Stumped if the battery post has not been pushed down. I have heard some others talk about raising the post some. Never have though and don't know how. Should know this but don't: 801 vs 510 vs eGo
Switched is right. The EGO has two sets of threads. The top of the battery has threads inside the tip. THose are 510 threads. The threads on the outside are the EGO threading. If you get a good picutre you might be able to see both. You will need an adapter to put the 801 carts on it.- Apptiger
