    In Alabama, our certifications are K-6 and 6-12 in specified fields, so I can't ever leave the 6-12 range, thank goodness. We also have a rule that if you're not let go by the last day of school, you can't be fired (barring extreme circumstances). I can't imagine dreading that all summer.
