Nicotine level needs vary too dramatically to give a firm recommendation for 18mg. Many of us needed 36mg or 24mg to quit the cigarettes; some need only 12mg or 18mg. There doesn't seem to be a firm correlation between former analogue consumption and the ideal starting nic level. In other...
I've tried those same flavors from V4L and you're right, they are absolutely revolting. However, I'm a coffee lover and I can say without reservation that V4L makes one of the best coffee eliquids out there: WowCoffee. It is one of the top three coffee eliquids available right now, in my...
I also love coffee flavor, so I'll give you a few of my tried-and-true favorites:
Kona Coffee Milkshake from Virgin Vapor
WowCoffee from Vapor4Life
Keoke Coffee from MyFreedomSmokes
If you want to try a hot cinnamon that tastes exactly like those Fireball candies, try the fabulous Atomic...
If you like the V4L batteries at 3.7v, you may be disappointed in an EGo because it operates at a lower, cooler voltage. I would suggest that you check out the Riva from Liberty Flights as it's 3.7v. It's my new favorite ecig!
I think you'll find that there's a huge difference between 18mg and 24mg. To me, the 18mg tastes like bad breath but the 24mg really hits the spot! I vote that you up your nicotine level and see if that helps.
Don't worry about vaping too much. You're not smoking, and that's the point. Give yourself as much time as you need to acclimate; you'll be glad you did.
I've been using my V4L kit for over two years and although I've also started collecting other ecig models, I still love my V4L the best. They have a new XL battery now (Diamond) and it's very chic in black matte. It last for several hours.
I don't care about the problems with EGo's or Riva's because I didn't buy any bad ones. I care about the E-Power because I *did* get a bad one - and the usual fixes don't work. People, especially the newbies, need to understand that this e-cig model has a problem right now and it's less of a...
There are two posters here with the same problem: newly purchased E-Power's that will not turn off. A new switch does not solve the problem. They don't work as they should; they're downright dangerous if you don't remember to unscrew them after every single vape.
Why on earth would you...
It's perfectly logical if you happen to be the person who got a bad unit. I don't want to see anyone get burned like I did. It's fair to warn them about it. There is obviously a problem with the current batch of E-Power 14650's.
You may need to start at 36mg to keep the cravings at bay. I used 36mg for several months when I first stopped smoking, then I worked myself down to 24mg. I've pretty much stayed at 24mg - but I haven't smoked in over 2 years.
If it's not refillable, I'd ditch it and buy one that's going to be cost-effective and user-friendly in the long term. You also want to have the option to experiment with different liquids. What kind of e-cig do you have?
The throat hit you describe is determined by both the nicotine level and the composition of the liquid: higher PG means a bigger throat hit. It sounds like you need a higher ratio of VG and maybe a lower nicotine level. This only helps you if you know the specs for the liquid you vaped...
I would not recommend the E-Power given the fact that recently, at least two people on this forum have received bad ones with switches that won't turn off. We don't know how many non-forum people have had the same problem.
I would suggest that you avoid the E-Power unless/until they fix the...
Most liquids have nicotine. The strength means the nicotine level: 36-24-18-11-6-0 are the usual levels.
You have the option with some vendors to add "extra flavor" but that shouldn't change the stated nic level.
There are at least two of us in the past couple of weeks who got bad E-Power ecigs and they were 14650's. Maybe this means that it's only the recently produced units that are flawed? When did you buy your E-Power?
I agree. I am about ready to give up on the E-Power altogether. It's just not worth the aggravation. I think I'll just order something else. It does annoy me greatly that I wasted so much money on a product that is faulty.
Yes, it's cheaper. Yes, it works. You're a fairly heavy smoker, so get a heavy-duty ecig to start with and save yourself a lot of hassle. Start at 24mg nic level but buy 18mg in case it's too strong. I started at 36mg and stayed there for months; that's what it took to keep me off tobacco...
