    VG and low nic levels both dull the throat hit. Try the Wow varieties of cartos in 18-24mg. I think the Wow has a 80/20 PG-VG ratio or thereabouts.

    Throat hit is important to me, too. From Vapor4Life I love Wow Coffee, Wow Peppermint, Wow Pancake and Wow Black Licorice - all in 24mg. All have a terrific throat hit and taste great.

    I have four batteries and it happens with all of them, so the battery is not the problem. I'm out of ideas. When it's on, it works great - but you have to unscrew it every time you take a drag. It gets old.

    That was me and the new switch did not fix the problem. The only thing left is the spring. I'm just not sure if I need one that's weaker or stronger.

    Yes - the XL manual batteries from Vapor4Life are 380mah and 3.7v - and they come in different colors. They use cartomizers, which also come in different colors. I think that the Bloog and Volt (also KR8's like V4L) fit the same criteria.

    Their Wow flavors are really good, especially Coffee. Other Wow flavors that I love are Peppermint, Black Licorice, and Pancake. I have a couple of bottles of their new USA-made eliquid but haven't tried them yet so I can't comment on those.

    I think this means that you would be happiest with an Ego-type of ecig or a basic mod like the E-Power with long-lasting cartos like the Ressurectors. I would go with the E-Power because it's cheapest to maintain and it's 3.7v compared to 3.4v for the Ego.

    I quit instantly with the 808 from Vapor4Life and it's still my main ecig, over two years later. The XL batteries last 3-4 hours on a charge and it's a nice 3.7v unit. For a beginner, it's a very good bet. Check to see if there's a sale before you order; they're always having good sales.

    I am also a former Parliament Lights smoker (1.5 PAD x 37+ years) and I vape at 24mg. It does sound to me like 24mg is too high for you. Maybe you should try stepping down to 18mg and see how it goes? It may also be dehydration.
