The estimated monthly cost of under $14 is too low, in my opinion. You will need to spend more than that - but you can still get by with spending less than you currently do on cigarettes.
Aside from the Ego, I often see recommendations for the Riva kit with the 20% discount from Liberty...
I don't know if there have been shipping problems with MyFreedomSmokes but I can vouch for the quality of their e-liquid. They do a fabulous job with Blackberry, Keoke Coffee and English Toffee!
If you love the Silver Bullet and it's working for you, what the heck difference does it make? The manufacturer may be in China but the vendor is an American company, right?
Washvap is misinformed. Vapor4Life is an excellent brand and I quit a 37+ year smoking habit using their products. I still use them, as do many other vapers on this forum. I highly recommend them.
Edited to add that I am very, very tired of the way a few posters dismiss KR808D-1 ecigs as...
I absolutely love the Wow cartomizers in Coffee, Pancake, Black Licorice and Peppermint - but I know that many people are fans of the premium liquids, so it's really going to be a trial-and-error process for you.
I would strongly recommend that you buy juice and refill your cartos because to...
I usually hear the Provari and the Darwin mentioned when people talk about "the best" model. I'd love to own one of them.
Other recommendations I see frequently are for the Silver Bullet and the Reo.
(I don't own any of the above but hope to one day.)
I love my 2 piece KR8. It helped me quit a 37+ year smoking habit almost two years ago and I'm still using it. I like that it packs a punch; it's strong. It works. I don't know why it is often compared unfavorably with the 510 models because it seems to me that the KR808D-1 produces a much...
I agree that V4L has the best e-liquid: 90% of the juice I vape is from V4L. I've had excellent luck with the Wow cartomizers, so no complaints from me there. A sleek PCC like the ones I see sold by other 808D-1 vendors would be nice but I'm not sure I'd use one much because I always carry 5-6...
The usual quit-smoking rules don't apply to vaping. It's not an all-or-nothing game like it is with cold turker or the patches/gum/Chantix. Keep the pack of cigarettes around if that makes you feel better because if you're like most of us here, eventually you will prefer the vaping to the...
You'll notice that both acronyms are underlined so if you hover over any term here that's underlined, you'll get the definition. PG produces the throat hit; VG the vapor. You'll have to experiment to find your favorite ration of PG:VG. I like 80/20 or 75/25 but everyone is different.
Why not just get a larger 510-type battery and you'll be able to use those cartos? A Riva will do the trick because it's 3.7v. I'd stay away from the Ego because you're looking for a stronger vape and throat hit, and the Ego is only ~3.2v.
The KR808D-1's get a bad rap on this forum sometimes...
It sounds like you'd like a higher-voltage ecig. I like the 808D-1's from Vapor4Life in XL manual and I understand that the Volt is also a 3.7v and packs a punch. These are both slim battery types. If you want to go with a fat battery that will last longer, there is a wide variety of choices...
Maybe you should try 24mg or 36mg liquid. I can't deal with 18mg; it's just too weak for me. It's possible that you have the same problem. Also, get a liquid that has ~20% VG for a nice vapor.
There's no point in trying to compare how much e-liquid you consume to how many cigarettes you used to smoke. It's different for everyone and there's no direct correlation between vaping and smoking. Most importantly, vape as much as you need to in order to stay off the analogs.
I think that if keeping the analogs on hand makes you feel better about vaping, you should not worry about it at all. Every cigarette that you do not smoke is a victory.
